It really seems like making Donnie a solo act was a spur of the moment decision that Diddy made when he revealed the members of Day 26. It was live TV, he was excited and just said it. Then there was no going back. They had no idea what direction to take him in. The amount of times they mentioned Justin Timberlake is embarrassing. And then his first single sounded just like a JT song 🤦🏽‍♀️

re watching this i feel bad for him the most because that era was all about copycats and he never had a fair shot of creating a fan base or a sound and his voice wasn’t strong enough in my opinion. Loved his first single Dr Love though that was my ringtone 😂

@@raverater9296 I agree. Donnie is a nice guy but his voice wasn't the strongest and neither was his dancing. Plus, he had no edge. But if he was given to the right people, he might have had some success. Especially with the MTB audience supporting him

@@estherob5736 I won’t say no names because it’s not her fault - but even down to the way they used to dress Dwoods stylist would always cover her body up, and have everybody else in the group showing more skin, they used to do Dwoods dirty. It just goes unnoticed, it often made her look bitter but I don’t think anyone was really paying attention to how she was treated sometimes

Nah Diddy wanted Aubrey to pimp herself out behind the scenes and she was conforming to it - so, because of that, he would purposefully single her out to try and exert dominance over her in front of the others. Was she annoying as times? Yeah sure. But she was literally THE FACE of DK regardless of how people liked her or not. That’s a lot of pressure.

Aubrey was made to feel like the “lead” or the face of the group when in actuality she did the least amount of work besides Shannon when it came to the actual formation and sound of DK. She got wayyy too high on her horse and forgot that the way to the top is to stick together not to sleep with the bosses.

Regardless of what YOU say, it was a FCAT that yes, Aubrey WAS meant to feel and was positioned as the face and lead of the group... becasue SHE WAS POSITIONED THAT WAY. And thew fact you say "she did the lease amount of work" AND to include Shannon not too far behidn that tells me you literally just don't like her and really have noi sound bearing on what you're talking about. At the end of the day; DK is done, Diddy is in the beginning of his cancellation tour, and the ACTUAL TRUTH will be revealed. Think what you want lol good day.

That’s unfair to say because Day26 were literally in their pre- debut/debut era and figuring out themselves as a group & those were their first performances. DK were in their sophomore era. Day26 has showed over the years that All 5 can sing their faces off & can tear the stage up. Day26 got success too (2 top 5 albums, first album went gold & is eligible for platinum, nominated for major awards (American Music Awards, BET Awards, NAACP Image Awards) etc & are currently the only MTB group that’s currently together
