try this yummy chick peas chat,its super tasty and easy.
black chickpeas boiled 1 cup or 250 gm
onion medium size 1/2 sliced
tamarind paste 2 tsp
salt to taste
black salt 1 pinch
chat masala 1/2 tsp
red chili pwd 1/2 tsp or to taste
dry roasted and grind cumin seeds 1 tsp
dry roasted and grind coriander seeds 1 tsp
tomato 1 red chopped
curry leaves 5,6
green chili 1 chopped
coriander leaves 2 tbsp
mustard oil 1/4 cup
in oil put curry leaves and fry then add onion and fry til golden.
then add tomato with all spices and mix.
add 1/2 cup water to cook tomato completely.
when tomato become a paste add boiled chick peas and tamarind paste.
mix together nicely and cook it covered for 5 minutes on low flame.
add green chilies and coriander and simmer for another minute then serve.
add raw sliced onion on top if you like.
