ഒരു രാത്രി കൊണ്ട് രചിച്ച കവിതയാണ് ഇത്

മലയാളത്തിൻ്റെ പുണ്യമായ ആ മഹാനുഭാവനു പ്രണാമം. മികച്ച ആലാപനം

A rare genius and a worshipper of beauty. He couldn't have lived a life of meticulous planning. Like a feather in the winds he floated freely and forgot even himself. Carried toffees for kids in his kurta pocket all the while and stayed put wherever he felt like. The repentance which resulted in this poem wouldn't have happened had he been not accused so much by so many during the time .. else we would have been more fortunate to get for our language poems of such calibre shrewn with such imagery which only he could have penned.

വളരെ നല്ല കവിത കേട്ടപ്പോൾ സങ്കടം വന്നു പോയി നല്ല നല്ല വരികൾ അർത്ഥപൂർണ്ണതയുള്ള കവിത നന്നായി ആലപിച്ചു

ഇന്ന് മഹാകവി പി യുടെ ചരമവാർഷികം. ഈ ആലാപനം എന്നെ ശരിക്കും കരയിപ്പിച്ചു. എന്തൊരാഴം അനുഭൂതികൾക്ക് ! മഹാകവിയുടെ സ്മരണക്കു മുന്നിൽ ആദരവിൻ്റെ കൈത്തിരി വെക്കട്ടെ. ആലാപനത്തിൻ്റെ മനോഹാരിത പറയേണ്ടതില്ല.

A poem with many planes of interpretation, very symbolic and autobiographical. Finely rendered by catching up the spirit of the poem. Actually, I love the poetry of P for the rich imagery of life and nature, which flowed out of his pen like a gushing river with all charm and spontaneity. His poems really bring the flavours of Valluvanadan life.

The imageries of the poem , expressions of feelings and the rendition re beyond words. This poem took me to the life in 70s and has really touched my heart . In the 2020s we miss the poet verymuch .
