I tell folks that if they are not happy doing what they are doing to go do what makes them happy because tomorrow is never promised. What is the point in being unhappy? A person is better off living with hardly anything and living freely and happy than to be burdened with bills they can't afford to have a life they don't even enjoy.

Yes and the best thing is that your higher self has planned this all along. Whatever happens in our lives, good or bad, is right. It can NEVER be wrong (however crazy it sounds) Hardship is a gift and an oportunity for your soul to learn and evolve. Really something to be appreciated rather than looked down on. The real quest is to figure out what life is trying to teach you with it. Blessings and lovelight ❤️❤️❤️

Agreed! I got fired from two jobs in 4 months. I had been broke and desperate and new to town. Not what the universe had in mind...both sales jobs and it felt weird talking people into overpriced outdoor gear and it all happened so fast...so dizzinging ugh...did not resonate...I pointed people to gear swaps second hand shops and thrift. ...my boss also was a great person but i got called in in the pre open hours and she said sorry but....honestly i cried but then almost immediately felt relieved! A month later I got the job that lead me to my new teaching gig! So much better!

Yes, life is a crazy roller coaster. I remember listening to Kevin O'Leary from Shark Tank, and he said that when we find ourselves stuck not knowing what to do next, we should consider going back to our roots. What are we good at doing. I'm also at that space, trying to get going. Perseverance is the key for me at this time. Hope you find direction and happiness.

My grandma told me something important 40 years ago when I faced a big decision. At the end of your life when you look in the mirror, you want to see yourself as the woman who chose her own path. She said almost every person trying to guide my decisions would die before me. I would be left to face the consequences of my decisions. She said to be my own unique person. Every decision you make won't be the right one, but they won't all be permanent. You are allowed to change your mind. Be free and choose the life that speaks to your heart. I have anxiety, too. Close your eyes and meditate on your breath, if only five breaths in the shower. When you concentrate on your breath you are in this moment. It's thoughts of the future that make us the most anxious. All the best to you. ❤☮

I can relate to this story Kalle. I am 60 years old, and believe me, I have been through some ups and downs. Lost my first wife to cancer, developed heart disease in my 40's, eventually I was unable to continue my career in Masonry. Lost my house, and much of my belongings, in the estate settlement with my Late Wifes family.... and much more. But here I am*, I met a Wonderful Woman, a farmer living in Jamtland. I visited, eventually moved here, Married again, and life goes on* I would probably never have met my Wife, or had such a great Life, if all of these terrible things had not happened. You never know what Life has in store for You!

Back in like... 2010 or so, I got dumped by someone I had been in a relationship with for 3 years. We were living together and everything, and because his name was on the lease of our home, I got kicked out. I had about a month to find a new place, but it was right before Christmas and there wasn't much available. On top of that, I hated my job so much that it was making me physically sick. So in the end I made the decision to quit my job, leave the city I was living in, and move back into my parent's place in a smaller town a few hours away. I was ashamed to be living with my parents again, because I was about 23 or so at the time, but it ended up being one of the best decisions I had ever made. I ended up working as a relief worker for the shipping department at the local hospital which paid pretty well and gave me lots of flexible time, and because I was living at home I was able to save most of my money. After a year I was able to afford to move out to a bigger city, and everything in my life improved drastically. I've lived here for about 10 years now and while I am over city living, I don't regret the last decade in the slightest. I met so many great friends, met my husband, bought a home, and we are now expecting a child. If I hadn't been dumped, I wouldn't have the life I have now so I am grateful for the hard things I have had to go through. It's hard to appreciate the bad things that happen to you when you are going through it, but so often those big life changes can lead to a much better, happier life.

I’m 58, in the process of selling my house, so I can reduce expenses and retire. The stress I experienced in my job of 31 years during the pandemic has resulted in a complete rethink of how I want to spend my time. It is a lot of work and worry to sell a house, pack, find a place to live, move and a leap of faith to leave a job I have been in for so long. I started working in a men’s prison at 23. It was my dream job. At 25 I injured my back and was told I’d be in a wheelchair at 40. I stuck it out 5 more years until they retired me out. I already had a backup plan as an interior designer. Had that career for 30 years on the Monterey peninsula of California. Nearly every year or so I missed the prison. Greatest job I ever had. 5 hours were like an hour. Every day was different. At the end of my shift I left everything behind me. Working with clients was so stressful when they had a lot of money. I liked the middleclass families who appreciated everything you do. I love how you evolved. God has been so good to me. I look back at those devastating times and realize God was moving me where He wanted me. I’m now 55 and have been retired for 5 years. Do what you love and live within your means and be grateful for everything.🙌🏻

I *just* started working on my "dream" career, which is working for myself (I didn't really know what I wanted until recently) - I also know ALLL about the marketing crap and trying to trick people into buying more. It just feels like sh*t to do that to people. I can't wait to leave...staying is so hard, so depressing, but bills need to be paid. Ugh. I so relate to this video, Kalle.

Yes. Bills need to be paid. Funnily enough, when I didn't worry about money, I was much happier. And still paid my bills. But when I started earning more, it didn't feel enough. And more money didn't equate to an increase in my happiness! I knew this already even way back. So now I just want to find something fulfilling, and still able to pay for basic expenses.

You name a mainstream job, I have done it. I worked until I literally had a huge breakdown. I never really liked any job. Being a barista and a bartender was the most bearable. After my breakdown all kinds of other things that I suppressed came up. I spend the last 10+ years healing. I finally am ready to go for what I always wanted to do. I am never working for a boss ever again. I am doing what I love. I just started but I am very positive it will work out. I wouldn't worry too much about the instant numbers. I feel like your production quality is so high, that all of your videos become legacy videos. Therefore they will continue to pull views/people for years to come. They won't go out of style or be cringy. It's the slow burn, in a way, which is sustainable. And the fact that you do this full time now means you'll be able to add more and more amazing content (truly amazing!), which will help you grow exponentially, much like Jonna Jinton did/is doing.

Hi Kalle, I am not sure if you will even read this as it's on a video from so long ago, but I have been watching some of your story when I haven't been able to sleep. I am old (er) 54 and single after a long life being a mum and wife. It's been such a helpful thing to watch your videos and it has helped me to realise that in spite of things being very different to the life I pictured for myself at this point, I still have the opportunity to make change happen. Right now, I am going through another 'cross road moment' but this time I am less emotional and less 'in survival mode' than I was when my marriage ended suddenly. Now I feel that I don't want to waste the time remaining in my life... I want to finally do the things I love and have been dreaming of doing and hopefully I can somehow earn a living doing what makes me happy and frees me from the detritus of that past life that is still holding me back. Yours and Christina's videos are not only an inspiration, but they are helping me be brave in the face of the changes I not only want to make but now need to if my health is to improve. This is really inspiring and encouraging. My name is Luke (the one that hides behind the camera) and my wife and I started our channel with similar ambitions. We are simple people, living in a 250sq ft (23sq meter) Tiny House and hoping to inspire others to live intentionally as you have inspired me to do through your channel. This video came at the perfect time as I quit my job last week and really needed this encouragement. I really appreciate your honestly and the time and effort you put in each of your videos. I'm looking forward to watching the rest of your series. =)

I can relate to the feelings of depression and anxiety. My go to phrase or mantra that keeps me going when I feel down is "No mud no lotus" by Thich Nhat Hanh. In order for a lotus flower to bloom, it has to go and push through mud. The mud represents hardship and sufferings that we have to go through in life, the lotus is the beauty and joy we experience after going through the mud or hardship. So never underestimate the difficult experiences in life, they are there for us to learn and grow. Thank you for sharing your story Kalle.

Thank you Kalle for sharing your life experience on such an intimate and honest level. I had a very similar experience starting at the age of 63 with the death of my soul mate, after the best year of my life; got a job w "great benefits" but very high time pressure and performance anxiety, where I was expected to do things everyday that didn't align with my values. The stress made me so ill that I had already been off work for 2 weeks seeing this Dr. and that one when the covid disaster was declared here and I never went back. Thanks for telling your story and reminding me that I am still in recovery and I still have a chance to do the things that make me thrive, now I just have to get started.

Sometimes we have to get uncomfortable in order to grow, evolve spirituality. When you are not in alignment who you are meant to be, life gets chaotic in order to get you back in alignment; in who you truly are. You can choose to carry a carrier on your shoulder or to listen to your calling. One might bring you material possessions but will always give you the desire to fill the void that can never with filled.

Hej Kalle. At the moment I'm unemployed with severance pay after working in the computer industry all my life. Of course I have applied for a number of jobs in the computer business but I have to say i feel refiled every time I not getting a job. The thought of going back to that stressful life make me fear for both my physical and mental health. My plan now is to fulfill an old dream of mine being a nature photographer. I know it's not an easy thing to get a living out of this but I feel I at least have to try. I probably never get a chance like this again. Your video feels like it telling me "Go for it!" Thank you Kalle.

I think most who've worked retail can tell you how soul-sucking it is. I share in your "there has to be something better" mentality. And look - there is ;) I'm still working towards mine. Don't be shy for asking people to like your videos; this is kind of your job now and it's just a numbers game. It's business. You do great, personal content, and we can return the favour (it's all an energy exchange). And I heard a quote not too long ago (I'm sorry, I forget the author or I'd attribute): "Chaos is a dismantling." It's not comfortable, but it is necessary for growth. Loved the vid. More please :)

A series of life events led me to sobriety, a career change and a move from Canada to Sweden. It was a brutal time in life where I nearly lost it all to addiction, but I faced my fears and trauma and ended up in a wonderful country with a new start for my family. Thanks for the video, Kalle.

Touching video Kalle! I consider my cancer diagnosis in 2017 as a gift, definately a painful one that brought many positive changes. My life is now so much better on many, many levels. Would never have happened without the rough times in 2017/2018! Best wishes from Canada Kalle. 🙏

When you're going through hell it's hard to keep in mind that life has a way of working out, but it's really true, if you just keep going and keep following your passions. Can relate to your experiences, although I'm not yet in my dream cabin with my dream partner, I'm already in a much better life than I used to be.

Kalle, this story resonates so much for me. I know that exact feeling of working somewhere that feels like your heart and soul are missing. I stayed in those jobs for 10 years and finally for the past year started doing photography and videos and I am soooo much happier! It wasn't an easy transition but things do start working out when we do things that align with our values. I'm so happy your life turned out so beautiful!

I really relate to walking through the storms in life and coming out the other side a better and stronger person. I have weathered many storms. Some were of my own creation. I have been sober for a long time. I have been working for myself for a long time. I have been in an amazing relationship for a long time. My life today is fulfilling. It hasn't all been easy. But, it has all been worth it. That is what matters most. Keep sharing your story Kalle. Its reaching people. Its helping people. Its helping me. Its helping you.
