I might be a rude barbarian, but the guy is the definition of overplaying for me. The solo was somewhat between 'meh' and 'are you done already?'

He "fakes" it sometimes by playing them in 8/8 and rushing slightly. Don't mean to discredit his solos in any way, but I've been analyzing the shit out of his improvs ever since the epic hit. What a virtuoso!
