Had a Chinese made pair of docs for years. They have basically just remade them to look exactly the same as real ones. They have some small differences but they are pretty well made for the price this is what happens when you outsource to china…

Zalora says that they only sell authentic shoes. I hope, it's the same with DMs. Next month, I will buy dr martens jadon ll star pink clash. Most likely, it's made in Asia. I hope it will lasts even for 5 years. But in our divisorias here in the Philippines, they sell pirated versions of DM's which are 3 times cheaper than the original. I'm not wealthy but I hate pirated stuff. They cause bankrupcy to other companies. And I think, that's one of the reason why DM had dec8ded to leave our country.

If you know anyone in the United States that you trust... Have them order you a pair from the actual Dr. Martens website & then ship to you... It would be a process I know... But worth the quality.

Well it is obvious to spot boots that don't pretend to be dr martens. The problem is with these that they also have the logo, the engravings and everything and pretend to be original.

I got used ones made in Vietnam. Everything checks put except the inner soles are removable with a harder surface underneath. Is this normal?

Yes it is. Recent 1460 boots are equipped with removable inner soles.

At 3:16 both are original tags. We have shown other formats of original tags that Dr Martens deploys

There are good quality replicas which use leather in their boots. The leather quality is not the same as the originals' though

When you look at the best copy of Martens they have all these things in them .. The one compared here is the lowest copy ..

Does Dr martens have production facilities in Laos ? I've a pair of eight eye which says made in Laos ,in fact I bought it in u.k recently 🤔

I have some that look like Docs, they don't look like knock offs,but not the real deal, cause no logo stamp anywhere. They are so comfortable and look really good. Does anyone know what Ao Te Lian is? LOL it's on the inside tongue.

Are there any marks over the vowels? Like á, ò, etc? When Chinese is written with Roman letters, it's usually written with those marks to indicate tone. Might help you figure out what it means.

Dr Martens uses this size chart for better categorization of different size standards. They do it for European sizes 39/40 and 43/44 ti fit the size adjustments of UK and US standards. Dr. Martens manufactures some of its original boots in China. However, Made in location is not enough to determine authenticity. We must check the other elements as well

Not true. I bought mine from the actual store and they have a place in Vietnam. And they are two line stitched because they are Jadons

Nope they have authorized and legit store in Vietnam and china like Nike store.. maybe it originate from england but for some reason they have expansion to other country here in asia
