I've already sent emails to voicing the interest in an Okami sequel with Kamiya at the helm four times over the last decade. I think this is maybe one of the best times to go for it, and I hope more people make their desires heard by them. (Obviously don't harass capcom employees, but an influx of interest for Okami, especially in a world where not even Zelda is doing that type of game so there's a pretty hefty hole in the market could go a long way!)

Could we eventually learn about what your vision for the other 6 Bayonetta games was going to be? It will not be the same without you at all, and things like Merlin, Cereza's Lumen powers, the Red Moon and what it does to witches, could end up unexplained even when you had them on your future plans, it'd be a shame.

Thanks Kamiya-san for your excellent work on so many iconic franchises and for Bayonetta, one of my all time favorites. I hope to see and play lot more games made by Kamiya, and each and every one of them should include a 16 bit demake (Sol Cresta style) as a special bonus.

6:03 in America, there's a city in my home state, Arkansas, that's literally called "Hot Springs", known for its naturally occurring hot springs! there are lots of fountains and streams that they let people drink out of, too. it's a nice tourist spot. i recommend stopping by (i've never been in the hot springs there myself, but i liked looking at all the stuff i couldn't afford in all the shops the two times i've been there)

Have you ever played any games made by Goichi Suda (SUDA51) or his Grasshopper Manufacture studio? What do you think about them, and games like No More Heroes? Seems like a few franchises are like that sadly; Shenmue seems to be in a similar boat with the full story. Would really like to hear what pssible adventures you had in mind for Bayonetta, Kamiya-san. Despite this question being asked a lot, would you have liked to work with Hiroyuki Kobayshi one last time back at Capcom? He was on the Resident Evil 2/Biohazard 2 team and on Team Little Devils, right? Yes, Terasawa-sensei's passing was very sad. Same with Matsumoto-sensei. Their Cobra and Harlock are immortal. Would be absolutely amazing if Capcom hired you on for a new Okami or Viewtiful Joe game. Okami has gained so much popularity since the original game came out so I could definitely see Capcom doing it if they know you're interested. Capcom's been a lot more open about trying new things and they've been having a lot more success lately so it's always a possibility they might want to. So maybe a pitch to them from the original creator might entice them. I mean they even sell Okami merch at Fangamer now which shows you just how popular the series has become.

@@blackmario1117 It may be the last time for Kamiya, but the team that created Bayo still remains. Because the directors of Bayo 2 and 3 were different, Bayo 4 will come out. The problem is that there are many games that Platinum is responsible for, such as Astral Chain and other outsourced works, so it will take time like Bayo 3.

@@krkr120the team of bayo 3 was completely different to the team of bayo 2 and it showed, the plot itself contradicted the time loop of 1 and 2, so i dont have high hopes for the saga

I realize that being a Nintendo DS game, it was built with the two screens and the DS limitations in mind, but I truly believe it deserves another chance in the sun (no pun intended), especially if Capcom allows you to make Okami 3. Do you have some soft spot for sibling stories that turn out to be rivals? Since your first game Devil May Cry there was this trope with Dante and Vergil and I could not help but notice that the story of Luna and Dita (Sol Cresta) turned out to be very similar to Immorta and Vorkken (Wonderful 101) which are the last two games Kamiya had an involvement with asides from Bayonetta 3 and Origins of course.

To be honest, I am really surprised to know that you were so involved in Bayonetta 3. Sadly for me, I didn't enjoy that game too much, and I felt it didn't have anything in common with Bayonetta 1 and 2. I felt it truly unrecognizable. But the concept behind was very original and unique!

@@brandonspencer5594 He was. A lot. And he parried with "Ask Platinum, it is in their hands now." retort fashion. Which means that he doesn't want to elaborate on what "creative differences" during development made him consider to leave the project and the company. But we can speculate that if it's so bad that Hideki Kamiya himself left it... It was incredibly bad. And I am incapable of believing it is something on his part, this man has a perfect directorial track record. He quite literally never did a wrong.

@@brandonspencer5594 Three and a half years into development, though... I seriously wonder what it could possibly be. Kamiya-san never spelled out his stance on Live-service games model, but somehow I don't see him being a fan of something like that... And seeing where the industry is going, considering how profitable those seem to be... With Platinum wanting to maintain their independence... Or maybe I am completely wrong, but then I truly haven't got a slightest clue in my mind what could possibly be a reason for Kamiya to literally step away from a project that is purely independent, unlike was the case with Scalebound, which was completely sponsored by Microsoft... No clue, basically. But who knows, maybe the development wasn't going great for quite some time now, seeing how Kamiya-san happened to co-direct an entire Sol Cresta game during Project G.G.'s apparent development...

That is a shame. We should have known years ago that we should always wait to pass judgement until we know the full story. And Helena`s story was full of holes from the start. But we live in this world where one person or one source says something, then we believe them blindly just because they said it. Just never do that again please. I remember getting into argument/debates with ppl on Destructoid while I pointed out the holes in what she had initially said, only to have a pile on of ppl who took her side blindly.

I remember you even made a FAQ section to get people to stop asking you the same questions (which you even posted on your bio area for immediate access). And STILL, people ignored that link. I can't blame you for keeping it to Japanese tweets after that.
