My family has raised hogs since before i was born. Naturally as an adult, i also raise pigs, for meat. Met up with a guy who was worried because his sow had gone into labor, but only dropped 2 piglets after 2 hours, so i went over, and well...i reached up inside, turned the piglet who was in the way so it would actually slide out, and bam, she spat out 9 more. If you havent been up to your shoulder in a pig, are you really farmiing?

@Gemma Saint i don't own reptiles and only watched few videos of the guy but i've always wondered why the cages were so close to each others. Accidents can always happen it's true but if you take more precautions with safety at first, conseguences are gonna be milder or no one at all later

You're correct, sir. Sometimes you have to find the humor in unfortunate happenings. Like how Slinky gave you a "hug" when you walked into his enclosure. "I'm sorry, dad, but he was looking at me funny! I couldn't take it anymore! He had to go!" Dang it, Slinky! 😂😂 I'm truly sorry for that outcome, but I'm glad you are willing to share the ups and downs of your experiences. Sometimes life has its own plans, and there's just nothing we can do to change that.

Oh no!!! SLINKY!!! Well, it always stinks to loose an animal, but you've got too look at the take aways.. 1. You have a GIANT healthy, strong, smart, and FULL lizard! 2. You've learned that Slinks WILL eat his friends 100% if unsupervised and slightly snackish... 3. I also think that the amount of animals has something to do with it too. Simply because of equations ect. The more animals you have, the more things that can go wrong. Shit happens. I'm really sorry for your loss Kenan, That was beautiful snake and I remember how contagious your excitement was when you unboxed it. Mistakes where made and lessons where learned and most importantly shared so that others can prevent something like this happening with their animals. I hope that you can find some comfort in that. Also it's easy to tell the world how amazing things are going, It takes someone with a lot strength and grit to tell the world they made a mistake. Thank you for showing this side of reptile keeping, its important people see that its not all sunshine and rainbows. You're a true inspiration and I can't thank you enough for the knowledge that you're so generous with. I'm sure you already know this by now but I don't think it ever hurts to hear it from someone else. The things in life that knock you down are not what define you. How you get back up and what you do about it, thats what makes you who you are.

Don't sweat it, accidents happen. Slinky did what nature told him to do, eat his buddy. You are right about it being a learning experience. You'll take this accident in mind and in the future make sure your pens and cages are safe from Slinky exploiting a weak spot. I am sorry about the loss of your snake. And the turtle was hilarious.

I think Slinky was kissing up to you Kenan when he tried to climb up your leg. That may have been a hug in normal circumstances but right then....nope! I'm sorry that this happened, I've lost my lizard to a mistake I made and I know it really sucks losing a beloved pet. Just have to live and learn, thank you for posting the experience so others can learn.

Looking forward to the new Python Enclosure video! Safer builds, learning from mistakes! I've had a few accidents happen with my reptiles too. I have a Red Niger Uromastyx and I used animal safe expanding foam for a background and she was basking one day and the lamp shorted out while I was away and the lamp got too hot and the foam expanded again on her my uro and part of her body got trapped in sticky foam and I had to take her to an exotic vet and they took excellent care of her and she is perfectly fine now and growing like a weed! Had to totally redo the whole enclosure make sure I put extra silicone on /: but all things were good in the end! Love the videos kenan!
