Finally, after long last, we're back! This time with dryads!
Some would say that they should've been drawn with more clothes. We would say, go read a book, nerd.

Fun fact: In Greek mythology, there were many different kinds of tree nymphs, with Dryads being those associated specifically with Oak trees. Other types existed, back before common usage filed all tree nymphs under the "Dryad" banner. Others include the Daphnaie (Laurel), Meliae (Ash), and Maliades/Epimalides (Apple). These last ones are my favorite because, due to linguistic quirks, they were associated with both apples and sheep. So if you want to spice up a Dryad encounter, have the party encounter one that acts as a shepherd. Perhaps one or more of her flock have been taken by wolves (or _dire_ wolves), and the Dryad conscripts the PCs to do something about them. It can be handwaved that there's some malign influence driving the wolves to attack, since the Dryad could normally have turned the wolves away with words alone (because she's nature-attuned). Or maybe the sheep weren't hunted, but stolen by unscrupulous thieves. That the party are expected to pursue, to get the sheep back (if able). Maliades are often associated with the Hesperides, so the party could receive a golden apple as a reward. Whether it's a magical fruit, or a lump of apple-shaped gold, is up to you.

Another way to make dryads unique is more regional variants, desert dryads that hide in a feywild oasis hidden by a illusory magic mirage, or fluffy arctic dryads that can wrestle dangers to the wilderness into submission or such- I’d say amphibious dryads that guard giant coral reefs but I feel like that’s stretching it

So I've been watching a few of your videos and I really enjoy it and love your content. My two most favorite videos has to be the kobold king just for the simple fact I love kobolds. they're always one of my more favorite characters to play in DND and just coming up the stories with them is just fun. One campaign I'm currently playing at the moment is I'm playing a kobold druid name gold tooth. Is backstory is kind of interesting in a way a group of Kobolds used to live up in the mountains near some Dwarven villages the dwarves pretty much abandon the mountain thinking it to have no more riches in it. A brass Dragon one day comes along the mounting Finds Its senses there still riches in the Deep caverns of the minds and pretty much makes home. At first the kobolds for kind of hostile towards the brass Dragon thinking that it was just another hustle creature trying to take its home. But after a few years has passed the brass Dragon was able to convince the kobolds to pretty much serve it not as pure slaves. And after a while they agreed to it and soon the mounting read opened as a friving mining export the kobolds will go down into the mines and gather resources and sell it to the nearby villages. The dragon tall thumb cultured speech and even Society. One day the dragon held the competition to whoever can beat him in a game of chess would get a prize. Many of the kobolds have tried and all of them pretty much failed except one and that was gold tooth late into the night the dragon was pretty much drunk at this point and made a mistake on vet in his daughter for wed if the kobold can beat him in the game of chess. So the game wins on and the kobold by mere luck won. The dragon at this point was really pissed off that he lost but his daughter that heard the whole conversation pretty much agree to the terms and stopped her father from pretty much just killing the guy up front. So now you have to go to that is married to a dragon has rights to the mines. And what gets him out into the adventuring world is since the father doesn't really believe that a kobold can ever take care of his daughter he pretty much tells him if he can prove himself by doing several tasks outside of the mountains and comes back alive he will have full rights in full permission they're pretty much do whatever he wants in the mind and be able to Wed his daughter correctly. And that is how gold tooth was made. A Kobold with really dumb luck.
