Kanella, you should get yourself tested for all tape allergies. I also had the same problems you did, with your dressing. Turns out I’m allergic to tapes. Secondly, your Dutch pour turned out spectacular and that colour palette is stuuuning. I sincerely hope, you feel better soon♥️💥🙏💐💐

Love it! If you like wine, you need to drive up to Temecula; 45 minute drive, north of San Diego, off the 15. There are several wineries there.

San Diego Zoo is the best in the country. You're also a short drive to Tijuana, Mexico. The beach is also spectacular !!!

you will love San Diego i have been her 52 yrs. the the Uss midway is a carrier downtown museum . there is also the zoo and sea world. we also gave the wild animal park which is more like the safari park the second part of the zoo. by the zoo are beautiful museums. There is enough to keep you busy.

This turned out gorgeous and so different! I hope you’re feeling much better by now!! I had that same surgery a few years ago so I can relate to everything you’re going through! So… that bandage that stays on the 1st 24 hours…. Yeah! Well when I went to remove mine to replace it, I was HORRIFIED to see that the Dr had FORGOTTEN to actually stitch me up!!! No stitches, no glue, NOTHING!! I looked like a Pez Dispenser!!!😅 needless to say, we rushed back to the hospital to get my neck sewn back together!! 🤦🏼‍♀️ Hope my little experience at least made you feel a little better about what you’ve been going through! Also, know that it takes awhile for the scar to get smaller but it eventually will be just a little hairline feature in your story! Much love my friend!!🤗💕***disregard my surgery comparison bc after watching a more recent video of yours, I had assumed you had had the same surgery that I was referring to as me having. 🤦🏼‍♀️I thought about deleting my comment all together but decided to keep it in hopes my experience at least made you giggle. 😂

GORGEOUS! When in San Diego make sure to go over the Coronado Bridge and visit Coronado Island. Hotel Coronado is a nice place to visit and walk along the beach. La Jolla is beautiful. Lots of sea lions and some nice eateries. If you like Sushi head over to Mission Beach and eat at Canon Ball. Old Town San Diego is a must to visit. Cute area to walk around. Great Mexican restaurants in the area. The USS Midway that you are planning on seeing is in the Seaport Village area. Great place to walk along the bay. The Fish Market restaurant is very good and sits about the water along the bay. One of our favorite places. Just minutes from there is Little Italy. Some really great eateries. Fun to walk around. Felipe’s is a nice Italian restaurant. Yummy pizza! Right across is Pop Pop, yummy paletas, or popsicles. Right across the street is Dick Blicks art store. So fun. Great farmer’s market on Saturday. San Diego is my monthly getaway.

OMG Kanella I can relate to having an allergic reaction to the hospital tape. My skin came off w the tape. Open raw skin after the blisters open. 🥴 the pain Is unbearable. Take it easy and dont push urself. Ur my favorite channel. I Love ur work😊 🩵💙💚

I’m loving the pinks and purples. ❤ absolutely beautiful!! please take care of yourself. I spent 47 days in hospital ICU after going in respiratory failure. Had 2 chest tubes after surgical biopsies of lungs. Woke up on ventilator. It’s been a year and still working on getting back to normal. Sending good wishes and prayers your way!!

First, I completely understand your surgery issues and hope for a speedy recovery. I had major surgery 8 weeks before PourCon…a 5 inch hiatal hernia that allowed my stomach to be entirely in my esophagus and twist. I powered through it and had the most wonderful experience in Vegas. I just came home from the east coast of Florida. Would love come to the west coast. Really like the colors and composition of this painting. Less negative space really appeals to me. Not sure about the painting you’re considering teaching in Florida. I, personally, would prefer doing a Dutch pour with you. I did my very first resining with you in Vegas. Love everything you do. Go rest❣️

You’re going to see the USS Midway - it’s pretty cool. Little Italy isn’t far, I think we always ate at Pepe’s - old school food - pretty good. Make sure you go to Old Town. The Mexican food is good. My brother has lived in San Diego off and on for years.
