I can totally understand why I fell in love with korean dramas after watching 18 Again. It was Lee Do Hyun afterall. And fact that coincidently his story of having twins in 18 again and in TGBM. In both series altough the age of kids are so different...teens in one and kids in later...he nailed the role and emotion of characters as their father. ❤️‍🔥🌟 I guess I'm pretty sure he will be a great father in real life.😁💝✨🧿

For the ones that are taking pity of the mother saying that she should be forgiven please lets be real the drama is good but literally all the fucking fault was the mother from the beginning the tragedies of her husband and her farm was cruel no doubt but what she did to her son was horrible even when kang-ho was teen it gets worse he didnt have friends in school or college apart from his neighbors and his girlfriend and thanks to her putting all the goal of being specifically a prosecutor for not being pushed by others like his father all of this drama happen i dont know about u guys but if u accept her being forgiven then accept the killers being forgiven too coz what they did to kang-ho dad a DAY before the olympics was horrible but what the mother did to his son for his WHOLE life for me is the same or even worse and the drama show how kang ho lived as a kid he literally was bullied by his mother in school and university. a mere "im sorry" cant resolve all the bad stuff u did in fact if u only seek forgiveness after the cruel thing u did u are being selfish coz u have to live with what u did coz if wasnt right, Im talking here coz my girlfriend is trying to forgive or accept what her parents did to her which it isnt good her parents are pshycos let me just say life is so complicated and its okay u hate or dont forgive someone

Of course, you can choose to not forgive someone. And I’m not justifying her actions. But hating on her is really easy unless you’ve been in this position before. Which I have. I came from an East Asian background as well like Kang Ho and my mum was very similar to his mum. I had very few friends and I wasn’t allowed to date until last year (I’m 25 now). For this, I hated my mum for not allowing me the life everyone else had. I thought I was living under a dictator parent. But do you know why even after all of this, why Kang Ho and I both forgave our mums? Because I now realised that they were victims of their own fate. But they would not allow us to suffer the same way. What they did wrong was still wrong. But I understand that they would never have done what they did if it wasn’t necessary (largely due to the competitive nature and the mindset of East Asian cultures when it comes to success gauging). Kang Ho wanted to be an artist and I wanted to be a pilot. We had it in us to be what we wanted to be. And we were bloody good at it. But both mums shot those dreams down. He became a prosecutor and I am now a research engineer. While I’m not living a dangerous life like Kang Ho’s, I still relate because I now understand how hard it was for my mum to give me a good education in while a financial situation that just keeps getting worse each year. And thanks to 20+ years of putting up with my nonsense, I’m now able to live a comfortable life and end the poverty cycle that has plagued my family since the 60s.

I just hate his mother. She just literally burned everything he had done in his whole life. But yet his mother, greatest revenge is forgiveness damn shit!!!!
