Kang the Conqueror is the one who assaults Scott Lang as he tries to escape through the portal with Janet, Pym, Hope, and Cassie. Scott is almost defeated by Kang, but Hope comes back to help him. Scott uses Pym Particles to blow up the power core, killing Kang in the process. Scott and Hope make it back home through the portal that Cassie reopens for them. Scott is happy to resume his normal life, but he wonders if Kang’s death really triggered something worse, as he was warned. He decides to ignore it for now.

The fight scene between Ant-Man and Kang is still one of the most brutal and violent scenes I seen. Hopefully for more of that in Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars.

Thebmovie had to have more of this vibe and shouldve built more om Kangs weakneses and his relationship with Scott. Out of nowhere scott hates his guts and more but yeah just more scott and Kang and less cassie

While I enjoy this movie, I do understand why “Kang loses to ants” is such a negative criticism against the movie because Kang’s presence and beat down of Scott is overshadowed by that. Kang still could’ve lost but had he killed Scott during the fight, the ants sequence wouldn’t matter because Kang still killed Scott. And he should’ve kept Cassie in the quantum realm with him.

The biggest mistake was making kang lose period. He lost to ants and then lost to Ant-Man and wasp. It's kinda pathetic.

@@Jay-vm4lc Kang loses all the time in the comics and just shows up back years later with new tech and gets beat again, so losing in an Ant-Man film is fine, it’s how it was executed.

Their should of been an end credit scene of what happened to the kang that got sucked into his ship should’ve showed him turning into the beyonder

Such an amazing movie!!! The best MCU movie since Multiverse of madness !!! The beautiful and emotional scenes, the good old fights and amazing stakes, the mysterious ending and the set up , Amazing and likeable characters, no modern day cinema bad habits, this movie is AMAZING!!! And the best MCU portrayal of a villain since Loki and Thanos ! Jonathan Majors nailed it as Kang !!!! Powerful performance and his scenes with Scott are epic !!! I LOVE THIS MOVIE !!!

@@bellaqua4324 You said the key words Scott and Rebels. The weakest heroes outside of Scarlett Witch and Hawkeye was able to take down one of the strongest villains in all of the multiverse. Basically just killed all the anticipation of anything else Kang related.
