In this episode, we travel in our converted Ford transit campervan, to Kangaroo Valley, NSW, Australia. We stayed two nights at Holiday Haven Kangaroo Valley Caravan Park. The caravan park was pet friendly.

KANGAROO VALLEY
Kangaroo Valley is nestled between the Southern Highlands and NSW South Coast, about two hours' drive from both Sydney and Canberra.
The town has Australia's last surviving wooden suspension bridge with rainforest spilling down the escarpment. The area is popular for kayaking, bushwalk and waterfalls.
Dating back to 1870, Kangaroo Valley's main street evokes a sense of country charm, with its tea rooms and heritage-listed pub, The Friendly Inn. You can learn about local colonial history at the Kangaroo Valley Pioneer Village Museum or follow the Kangaroo Valley Historic Village Walk which takes in the historic Hampden Bridge with its large sandstone turrets.
FITZROY FALLS
Fitzroy Falls is less than 20kms from Kangaroo Valley. The amazing waterfall has water plunging over 80m to the valley below. It’s an ideal base to explore the lush escarpment country of the Southern Highlands between Robertson and Nowra. There is an information center, restrooms and wheelchair-accessible facilities.
We enjoy part-time van life, creating weekly episodes that are live at 5pm (AEST) Sundays, and sharing our experiences on our travels with our cavoodle, Twyla. In our episodes we stay at free and paid campsites, showing our tips and tricks on how to make life on the road easier and fun. Come join us on our adventures!

Spectacular video guys. Well done on the magazine monthly articles. You should be proud, you both work hard on your videos. Your merch looks great. That area of the Blue Mountains looks so picturesque with the water fall, walking tracks. The township is really good with great variety. You made my 80 year old laugh so much; she says you are a great couple. Excited for you both.

Great video again. Kangaroo Valley is a lovely spot to visit. I put Italian herbs in my breadcrumbs when making schnitzel. I love musk sticks too !

What a beautiful little town. All the southern highland area is pretty picturesque. Mind you I had to google where kangaroo Valley was. Awesome episode guys. Congratulations on the magazine articles and merchandise

I’ll be honest until I drove through. I did not know where Kangaroo Valley was. Definitely glad we got to drive through and stay a couple of nights. Such a beautiful place. A friend's dream was always to retire in kangaroo valley and she did. I lost track of her after a while and now I know why she was so fixated on that place. It's beautiful.

@@kingdeanoadventures never been to kangaroo valley I'm afraid. I've lived in the Whitsunday islands and other remote island communities all my life and now I'm old and no longer look forward to travel.

Love the way you show so much of the towns you visit. Its nearly as good as being there. Just checked out your first article , really enjoyable read. I think a few Melbournians including us purchased a van during lockdown. Something we had never thought about really and we've not regretted it one bit. Many more happy travels to you both and Twyla. All the best with your new writing gig. Maybe a TV series next how cool would that be !!

Great Episode as always guys I was showing the wife the doggie back pack told her she should buy one for our Choc Lab but told her she will be carrying him...Hahaha. Glen Mac caravan park just up the road is heaps better you all so have the free spot just out of town toilets and water lovely spot .

Awesome video once again. For a lover of old architecture this towns buildings and bridge were stunning to me. That little beach, walking trails and waterfall were fantastic. Thanks Sage, definitely a fantastic town we loved it. Adam and I are very excited seeing our very first column in GoRV and looking forward to getting our merchandise out there for people to buy. Now i better go and stay right next months article lol
