But when it comes to India South India is least bothered in every aspct.. yes LATAJI is legendary singer but please if you understand and know any south languages just listen chitra chechi, janaki amma, Spb, Yesudas songs from the south indian languages you know then you will be in confusion that who is the nightingale of India or any titles. But the fact is many south indians are neglected from many years.

We are fans of our side singers.. the main purpose of commenting here means many videos I have seen regarding top indian singers where hardly I can see one person from south that made us feel sad i can produce list of singers from south who are as equal and sometime more than bollywood singers..but Iam not here to compare them I love many singers from Bollywood too but the thing is its neglected to see from other sides of india thats all😊

She's been an active singer for 41 years . So 25,000 is a really impractical number . I don't know how that's possible coz 25,000 would make 68+ years of one song daily . Even if she recorded many songs everyday .. 25,000 .. Is just absurd !

@@kshitijshrey I am not sure but those numbers might include the chorus credits because ever since ARR stepped in he even gave credits to the chorus singers.Also there are several songs which are recorded with the same singer for different languages so maybe 25000 is possible.

@@kshitijshrey But chitra ji used to record 5-10 songs per day during her prime time.This was even admitted by ar Rehman ji himself. Bollywood music director Bappilahari done a Telugu movie gang leader ,,,,all the 6 songs were done in just one and half an hour by chitra ji and spb ji . Rehman sir said in one of his interviews that he didn't come across any other singer who could grasp the song as fast as chitra ji and spb ji could do . So 25,000 is possible with chitra ji without any doubt .

K S Chitra has most sweetest pitch perfect voice in the industry. Her range is something else..not every female singer can sing on her high pitch range with such honey like soft vocals. Its so pleasant to the ears. She the only Indian singer with maximum National and state awards. Also refered as the nightangle of South India. She is also the only Singer from India to sing in maximum number languages including foreign languages like chinese, arabic.

S Janaki Amma is a celestial singer. But the first female singer to be honoured by all the four south states of India is KS chitra. Till now there is no one to achieve this thing.

Even i doubt the number. If you divide 25K by 365 days.. its 68 years .. if she recorded 1 song per day, that will take her 68 years.. and she is 57 years .. i think this number includes her concert singing and repeat performances.. and not 25K individual songs..

Nobody is talking about Aravind Swamy,, He was introduced to film by the Successful director Mani Ratnam. He acted in few of Mani Ratnam's movie and all were big hits, 2 of them are made in tamil and Hindi. If the Successful Director signs an actor for more than one movie it must be becuase of the great talent and that's what Aravind Swamy is.

Yes niece but not direct one. And if you are talking about Bishweshwar Prasad Koirala, the Ex prime minister, then she is his granddaughter. Her own father was never PM but environment minister of Nepal during his term.

Mani Ratnam is known for taking subjects that are beyond the time when they were released and he said this in one of his interviews that it wasn't intentionally done and just a reflection of what is actually happening! Chithra ma is a legendary singer and I'm soo happy that you guys finally reacted to this song! P.S: I'm so happy that you reacted it with subs!Now, it's time for Roja, "Pudhu Vellai Mazhai" (Tamil) ! This was one of the best movies made by manirathnam, probably behind only nayakan. The music in this movie was just spectacular. And why isn't manisha koirala not there in the title. She is the one who did most of the work in this song. Lol
