Since NFL teams don't hold press conferences to announce to the league the weaknesses of their players, this was ever a narrative made to excuse that Roman wasn't being fired. With Fields it's more of the same. He's being blamed in order to I guess spare the feelings of fans. Because we have those o-line plays where his teammates run away from blocks, & they're not the ones we see "every bad o-line make." The Titans didn't seem to know how or have the personnel to put extra blockers on the line & got overwhelmed, Evan Neal gets his hands on pass-rushers.
