Bishop Ambo has the habit of questioning the language that is used during the mass. Today he analyzes the use of "Padre" for Jesus Nazareno. Tracing as far back as the time that what were called "sacerdote" killed & burned animals as sacrifice for sins until a prophet said these were unacceptable to God. 🙏Today the Priest and all the faithful together offer the sacrifice of the mass not to obtain forgiveness w/ the blood of animals but with the Flesh & Blood of Jesus Christ Himself as the PRIEST who offered Himself for us. He was BOTH Priest and Sacrificial Lamb. Thank you Bishop Ambo for teaching us to be one with the priesthood of Jesus Christ.God bless you!🙏😍♥️🙋

Maraming salamat Bishop sa homily na ito. Bakit tinawag ang Hesus Nazareno na Nuestro Padre at di hermano ito ay dahil siya ay Diyos rin na Ama na kumakatawan sa tatlong personas. Kaya pwede Siyang tawagin na Nuestro Padre meaning Our Father for He can be God the Father also and He can be God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. If priests and you Bishop are called Padre it is because you are the representatives of God and during the mass we listened to you as God talking to us like God as the authority is with you to spread the Gospel or His Word in the Liturgy of the Word. And you offer Christ the Son in the Holy Eucharist where His flesh and blood as you say this is the Lamb of God that means the son of God. For lamb literally refers to the young of the sheep. When you officiate in the mass you become sacred to us because you ŕepresent God talking to us the people that composed the church so we have to always respect in everything you say for at that moment you speak us God thus giving the homily must be done with all respect by both the presider and the listener, we the people attending the mass for we composed the church where God is present through the priest. During the offering of the Holy Eucharist Jesus is made as a sacrifice where the bread of life that (Eucharistic wafer) is transformed into the flesh of Christ and the cup of wine with water transformed into His blood poured all over us where our sins were forgiven and we can be one or in union with Him when we are going to receive Him during the Holy communion which we call the banquet of the Lord. I strongly agree there is no greater offering that we can offer to God except ourselves to be in union with Him( Holy spirit ). That's why we need to cleanse ourselves and that is done in the first part of the mass where we say i confess to Almighty God and to you my brothers and sisters that i have greatly sinned........(Bishop this is how i understand in this homily and as i understand during the celebration of the Holy Mass and this is subject for your correction when i am wrong with all my respect to you and all the priest
