Nope...not at all true I'm from Tamil Nadu and I've known about him and watched all his movies ever since Magadheera was released in 2009 that was the time when I started to get wary of Tamil movies which became generic and stale , every movie had the same plot and telugu movies were like a breath of fresh air for me....even before Magadheera I watched this tamil movie called Gajendra and loved it which turned out to be a remake of Simhadri ...I also loved Siruthai which was vikramarkudu's remake......so even before I knew about Rajamouli sir I've been a fan of his works...

If i might say this to all the Indian movie makers, never did anyone of you thought that a film based on a story line like Bahubali would have such a tremendrous success never seen before in the Indian film industry . This only goes to show that the many directors and producers should veer from your usual stories of glamour and non sensical stories of heroism portrayed by very talented actors/actresses and really come up with movies that showcases their true talents of acting. The whole cast of Bahubali was superb in their roles.

Vikhyath Kamath You might be eager because you have some southern connection but the fact is majority of those with no southern connection isn't going to watch this film as they are not going to identify with actors irrespective of how large the film is, may be they would for free when its broadcast on telly at some point.

I disagree there. Firstly, though I am south Indian I live in Mumbai so I have lived only with Bollywood! I have seen very few southern movies. Tbh I don't even know who Prabhas is. I know some other actors just because of their Bollywood outings. But I have heard (and seen) some of Rajamouli's works and hence I am eager for the film. And secondly, we have seen it with Furious 7 that people have gone for the film for its visuals and not only for the stars (The film can't make a 100 Cr without single screen audience most of whom had no idea about the star cast for sure). Finally, given the huge success southern remakes are, I am sure many would watch it. Their popularity is evident even by seeing the number of south movies broadcasted on TV everyday. If promoted well and given a decent screen count I do think this will be a success. Okay, not everyone will be more excited than Bajrangi Bhaijaan!

Telegu flims -more budget, commercial and colourful, Gives big sucess Tamil flims-more innovative, good stories more of skills give content to many woods to make new movie, extra ordinary acting skills(sab ka baap) Malayalam movie- real and good stories, much talented actors, gives high gross movies with low budget.... Kannada flimsy- sorry not seen much so no idea(pls comment if u know) Hindi flims, -rarely good movies....highly depends on glamour, sex, party, smooches,some one biography 80% remake of other good indian movies and foriegn movies...but all credits goes to bollywood for copying Bengali -same as malayalm flims father of social movies

People who are against Telugu and tamil movies :Telugu and tamil are both two completely different industries. They have there own specialty. Tamil movies usually have one comedian in the movie while Telugu movies have more then one comedian in the movies. Tamil movies don't really have family movies in new movies while Telugu does

I request to south Indian movie makers............ can you please dubbed your movie in Nepali language so that we don't need to watch in Hindi dubbed even Nepal is a big market for south Indian movies and come to Nepal for promotion as well.. Thank you.

I wish there was a universal language across whole India so that every Indian can enjoy every kind of movies we have soooooo much talent in India with a tremendous diversity. although, almost every movie is dubbed in other familiar language, but it's still doesn't feel as original as it actually is, cause the emotions attached with the voice of actors/actresses deforms sometimes.

Happy to see SSR complimenting Tamil cinema for its good mixture of experimental and commercial films. Having that mixture is very important. But I must say that Telugu cinema have perfected the art of commercial cinema and have innovated within that space. Its time Telugu cinema get more experimental and try to attain that mixture. On another note, I wish SSR makes a straight Tamil or Hindi film soon. He needs even better nationwide exposure. That can help Telugu cinema because more eyes will be on them when SSR attains this fame and then goes back and does more Telugu films.

Ha karan can't be bothered with that when he's guaranteed more money making a run of the mill film with a khan or a kapoor or whatever. But of course he'll be the first one to offer to distribute a telugu or tamil movie or whatever that's done on such a big scale that could assure he gets more money into his pockets. 😒
