I love the fact that Rajamouli sir believes in what he is making, no matter it is over the top action. This is the reason he makes everyone believe in that.

It's always pleasure seeing Baddy trying to get into the minds of creators. It was fascinating to see SSR explaining the reasoning behind who fits the lead roles between JNtr and Ram Charan. Even while disagreeing to something SSR is cool as a cucumber 🆒. The whole analysis of why Telugu movie makers are better at churning out masala movies is damn good.

This was the best interview....

So happy to have an alternative all-India Film related source. FC and other mainstream bollywood media are really letting politics come in the way. They didnt cover Thalaivi Hindi or the recent Kashmir files (apart from giving it an extreme, unbalanced written review). They gave Uri 2.5. Even in a similar interview on RRR with Rajamouli, Anupama asked if the film is about friendship or Patriotism as if the 2 cannot coexist. What irked me was that this was based purely on a lovely dance song showing our freedom fighters and yet it was prefaced with mention of jingoism which is totally irrelevant. They constantly bring the subject of jingoism whenever we make pro-India films. She also asked why Rajamouli's atheist believes are contradicted in his films. I am starting to feel that the arguments against FC and mainstream bollywood media might actually have some backing and logic to it. So its time more players enter this field and we get hopefully a balanced view of cinema with politics put aside.

If the Telugu audience were that accepting of different kind of movies, would have seen different genres/kinds of Telugu movies instead of the dime-a-dozen hero-driven MASALA movies only & movies like Skylab wdnt have failed.
