We start off the year with a very low tier matchup between Ozzy's Cubic OTK deck, straight from Aigami's film performance of last year who was up against funky duelist Todd who was inspired by Jesse Anderson's GX era Crystal Beast.

Cubics are one of my favorite decks to play. Sadly the deck only performs well with short games, and hands can be inconsistent. But has amazing OTK potential.

Is it just me or did he not shuffle after banishing karma to search followed by upstart (game2)?

1adjan1 ik this is late but if u get the card in ur first 3-5 cards in ur search u dont have to shuffle

Nguyen Luong in my knowledge, whenever a deck HAS to be shuffled after a search, since u can know which cards are laying on the bottom u know which ones u won’t be drawing, giving u an advantage over the possibility of the draw.

Only 1 Crimson Nova can use it effect not both. But either way it was game if the other one attack and then end phase

@2:00 You cannot reveal a Cubic for Crimson Nova that is already revealed by Contract with Don Thousand. Ozzy had an extra Cubic Karma in-hand that he played right after anyway so it wouldn't have mattered but just for future reference.

So if a car is already revealed via another lingering effect it can't be revealed for summoning condition? seems very complex but weird at the same time

I believe so. There’s one cubic fusion monster that’s SOOOOOO OP. 4500 attack, 3000 defense, completely immune to opponent’s card effects, can make a second attack, opponent automatically loses half their life points if this monster declares an attack, and if you lose life points due to an effect, opponent takes the same damage. The only way it can be defeated is in battle, which isn’t too easy since it has very high attack.

NOVA cannot be summoned with cards that are already revealed.

true! but it didn't matter he could have still summoned Nova using the Karma instead of Garnex. outcome would have been the same lol

This resets on each instance of a crimson nova summon as the summon isn't a quick effect

Nova says in order to special summon you must reveal 3 cubic cards with different names. agreed. but! you can't reveal a card that has and is still revealed by the effect of another card.. Garnex was revealed by his don thousand.... but again like I told Carlos even if he did misplay that; He did have Karma in hand to reveal instead so the play he did would have still happened and the outcome remain the same. lol Cubics for the win!

Gustavo Giron i agree with you. The outcome wouldve been the same as i saw too he had more cubics cards on his hand. Still, he did not show those other cards. Still a missplay
