Finally someone said it!!

Women Rep positions are based on Affirmative Action. The current political Landscape makes it very difficult for Women to become part of the Political Decision Making Process and thus would always be a minority. That said, we have allowed it to become the joke that it is...because we have not allowed for the best women to go into this positions. Unfortunately we have taken the lowest of the low amongst women to go and represent. Many of them have got these positions due to proximity to male leaders (and I mean that in a literal sense - wink, wink.) There is no nation that can prosper by excluding more than 50% of the population from decision making, but we cannot still do it by allowing the lowest of the low amongst them to be part of the decision making process. The Principle behind it is fine but the way Kenyans are going about is wrong!! That is where we nee a rethink!!

@@namz2484 before we had women reps we had maendeleo ya wanawake. It was working just fine because women actually benefited from it. Women reps are a waste of taxpayers money and an added liability to the government system. They need to be scrapped.

Women rep positions have proven to be a complete waste of taxpayers money and are more of a liability than assets to the citizens that elect them. It is a useless position and quite frankly not necessary. Women can compete for other positions that hold more reasonable purpose, but the women rep positions should be scrapped.

As you bash women, kindly let us know your contribution and influence in Kenya. I get this feeling our mothers and daughters have done more than you considering your attitude.
