At first, I thought that IF she did hit him with the vehicle, it was a total accident so would be involuntary manslaughter, at best. But after watching some of the trial (I admit not all of it), I believe she absolutely did not hit him. Defense attorney did a great job.

I do believe in my heart that there is wayyyy to much reasonable doubt for me. I support all police but I do believe that the police work here was done very poorly. Everyone deleting there call logs, getting new phone; disposing the other phone, Karen’s tail light, the lies between the witnesses etc I can go on and on ! But I will not. These district attorneys better reconsider redoing this case. I do not see that getting guilty verdict at all what so ever! BUT LETS NOT FORGET AN OFFICER IS NO LONGER HERE, let’s remember OFFICER JOHN O’Keefe is no longer here. I pray for his family and friends. I do pray there is justice for Officer O’Keefe gets justice. I believe Karen is not the one to go after. I’m not sure who is but lord this is sad all around

I’m absolutely baffled that the family is siding with the people who likely killed their son. I can understand that they might not have liked Karen, but I feel like they’re the people we should want to convince. Yes, we want freedom for Karen, but we also want justice for the O’Keefe family, and it’s tragic they’ve been painted as opposite opinions based on the fact that they’re siding with the prosecution. It’s tragic that they haven’t been convinced by the science and evidence behind this case.

I feel as though when the jurors get home and watch the news about this and see that those expert witnesses that they weren't allowed to say who paid them were paid by the FBI and it was the FBI investigating these police, they will all feel as though she is innocent

The fact that they didn’t return a “Not Guilty” verdict within the first two hours of deliberation is beyond terrifying… The prosecution didn’t come within a country-mile of proving a single charge ‘beyond a reasonable doubt’. This outcome shatters any remaining faith I had in the US justice system, and confirms a troubling reality: there must undoubtedly be tens of thousands of patently innocent people locked up in American prisons for crimes they clearly did not commit. Utter insanity.

I feel bad for the kids and family. If guilty or not there is no closure. Karen looks relieved vs family devastated. Ugh it’s hard to watch so much suffering.

What a joke the DA’s office is …they wait until trial is over to remove Proctor , they didn’t want to chance it that the jurors might have seen it. LE didn’t do their jobs and so truly no one will ever know the truth. I will never believe all of JO’s injuries were from being hit by a vehicle. If I was a resident of Boston I would be outraged at how much money they wasted on this, and now want to do it again.

I’m sad for JO no matter who did what.. the police who testified showed zero respect for him as person or police officer. He was one of them..part of THEIR brotherhood. And they spent more time being negative than respecting the loss of a brother.

My heart breaks for Mrs O Keefe, absolutely horrendous for her and her family. I noticed Karen Read stared straight at the camera in the courtroom and broke into a triumphant smile, hugging her legal team and family as if this was a ‘win’ for her. It isn’t! All hugging and shaking hands for the cameras….. even her father turned and looked straight the camera before exiting. Such phoney people. I can’t see Mr Jackson doing the next trial. He must have other cases to work on and I doubt Karen Read will be able to afford his services for another year or so. Am I the only person who in a neutral position who honesty thinks that the fan club outside the courthouse and more particularly that Rita woman, are actually harming this case? I don’t believe in the long run these people are doing Karen Read any favours. In my opinion she should ditch the cult and her celebrity type behaviour and be more respectful. This is not a victory for Karen Read and her team, no matter how they’ve tried to portray it to be. 🙏🏼

When I saw the wounds on John's arm, I knew that the people, his owns friends, were guilty of wrong doing!!! I believe that John was knocked unconscious or killed & moved outside into the snowbanks to make it look like he died of over-exposure to the cold!
