KARHU x SAYSKY FUSION 3.5 First Run & First Impressions review. It's a well known fact that I'm a big fan of running apparel from Danish brand SAYSKY. I've been training and racing in their kit for a couple of years now and it's never let me down! Their technical fabrics are brilliant and I love the bright colours and bold prints that they use on their kit. So when I heard they were going to be collaborating on a shoe with Finnish brand KARHU I got all excited and had to try them out. In today's video we are going to give you guys a quick break down of the shoes and then we're going to be lacing them up and taking them out for their first ever run!

I think they look really smart. Nice and understated design. They do look a bit like an indoor squash shoe but I think they look good. And that bear logo is pretty sweet.

me too. great brand still. hopefully shoe design improves in the future. more pebax, rocker etc and would like to get one..

Great review. I just purchased a pair and looking forward to seeing how they feel after a few runs. I plan on alternating with the Saucony Rides. Can’t wait to see your update and review after a few more miles

Loyd! I’m enjoying these and sought and acquired because I LOVE Finland! Especially after I was blessed to visit in 1997. And because I watch your inspirational Vlog. So I bought and they are as good or perhaps even better than you say, err, Saysky! Thanks for joining NATO, Finnish running bad ass leaders! We love you. And admire and respect you. Legendary video mate. I play squash, and if it had more rubber outsole I think'd be tempted to buy a pair for my weekly game. Interesting, I have never heard of the Karhu brand, some research is in order.

Zatopek was not a flying Finn - he was a native of Czechoslovakia. Karhu made a big attempt to break the UK market in the very late 1970s/early 1980s. They made some very good trainers (I owned a couple of pairs) and some cool looking spikes. I was based at university in Birmingham at the time and when I returned home to Lancashire it was very difficult to get hold of any Karhu stuff. Shoes were excellent, availability very poor. Often the problem with brands trying to break into the UK market.

I wish you try out ELEVAR (a great new indian brand) FILA aslo has few great choices for daily training, not mentioning JOMA ( the spanish under radar brand)

I've actually reviewed some ELEVAR shoes a few years ago on the channel and I wasn't that impressed. They were ok but the brand were using some pretty old tech and materials 👍
