This one would have been a nightmare with a buggy or elderly people. I'm very glad we stayed in the apartments as they were close to everything we needed.

@@KarionTravelling It's so important to know. I know a few people who's holiday would have been ruined if they stayed at the bottom of the hill all the entertainment would have been off access for them. A great review of the park, really helpful

I stayed here a couple of years ago. The caravan was a mess. I went to their Newquay site last year and it was terrible. Put me off using parkdean resorts again. I'll be sticking with haven

I've been fairly lucky with our caravans. Only one was disgusting, and they came back out to reclean. I don't think the cleaners get enough time, and the state some people leave the caravans in is terrible.

@@KarionTravelling the caravan I had at Newquay was a total nightmare. Mould, dead flies, water damage and a urine stained mattress. I went to reception with a photo of the mattress, the response was 'that's not good is it'. I usually don't swear (only for historical accuracy) but you would have thought gordon Ramsay was in there.

@thelastgamerontheleft that's not acceptable, I understand missed food in the cupboard or the odd hair on the shower, but that level of old dirt is awful.

Would strongly recommend avoiding the pool ending up throwing up the night before we left and think the pool triggered it because it looked so condensed so probs highly contaminated

I don't know for certain, but they were helpful on the phone, so it may be worth calling to check depending on which style you're thinking of staying in.
