I think it’s important to keep in mind that kat lost 8 family members with one of them being his Mom during covid. Almost a year later he got covid and lost a lot of weight. So two years of hell then last year was him getting back into shape and now he is healthy this year and balling.

We all talked to death how Ant man has finally made the jump to becoming an MVP level player, but for me the highlight of this season has been KAT finally playing tough and embracing his role as a big man. If KAT can find that toughness in him now you got two dudes who can give you 30+ a night. Now you got a solid team.

Did y’all peep the pick and roll that led to a lob to Gobert with KAT as the ball handler. KAT set a ball screen, and popped as if he would shoot the mid range which the defender had to respect then found Rudy for the lob. This team is fun to watch.

So impressed with the way KAT has quietly accepted a dramatically different role to make things work with Rudy in the middle. Even more impressive, he's learning to thrive in that different role. But the biggest thing I notice with the Wolves this season is that defense. They just GRIND you down. If you're an opposing team, you're going to have to work to put up 100. I think there's a lot of offense left on the table right now with this team and it's on Chris Finch to try to unlock it as the season goes on. But that defense is going to keep them in every single game.

The fact everyone is still sleeping on us clearly shows no one has been paying attention ‼️ We have been a solid squad on the rise for a few years now. We was hurt all season last year and was still in the playoffs. And even then, we were hurt missing 2 of our core guys. This is what we’ve been capable of when healthy and playing together! He also had only 7 boards and they were out rebounding us. I said last game that Ant had a bad game, it is not meant to throw shade. Good and great players have off nights.

You have to admit it, they look good. Still think they need a year or two for Edwards to have experience doing this more often. KAT is where he needs to be. Good mix of defense and offense. KAT is able to be a better roam defender playing his more naturla position as a big Power forward. similar to Giannis and I feel Anthony Davis is same position. Him at Center works but AD as a roaming Power Forward would be insane.
