Aap, Anubhav Ji.🙏 Rajinder Nagar market meh Khabhi fir seh mauka mile toh Kishan ka chole bature bhi chak ke deekhna. 😊 The chole is totally different than the other one around Delhi. Khabi pahar ganj ke gol chakkar ke paas khasta sarso ke tel meh taiyaar ki gayi heeng ki kachori miltih thi. 1970 aur 80s ka kissa hai. 😂

Pusa Road meh mera janam hua tha. Karol bagh, Reghar Pura, Rajinder Nagar muhje abhi bhi yaade dilati hai.

Mera bhi 1969 meh janam hua pusa Road meh aur Ganga Ram Hospital meh. Gulati stores, Jagriti stores, kum kum store, Paul Brother's chemist, pefaco aquarium store, Rachna cinema hall, wagara. I am now 54 year's old settled in Hamburg Germany for the past 25 year's. Pur karol bagh, Ajmal khan Road, Tank Road, Madras concern, Gujarati farsan joh Atul medico ke saath meh hua karta tha, hum aaj tak bhule nahi. Woh din jub smartphone nahi hua karta tha wohi time accha tha. Humara Makan Mohan Meakin ke ghar ke opposite meh hua karta tha. 11/2-A address. Telephone exchange ke saamne humara makaan tha. Aaj bhi hai. Harnaam singh Suri humara padosi tha. Unhone bhi beech di kohti. We sold our house in 1995 & moved out of Delhi. Then my parent's were still alive. Acha laga aap se milkeh. 🙏Koi toh apne ilake seh mila itne saal baad. 😊

Anubhav you are a treasure - but you already know that! I grew up in New Rajinder Nagar so this is such a nostalgic food walk for me. All my reference points for how certain dishes should taste like - chhole bhature, gol gappe, and of course kulfi falooda come from Karol Bagh. Love this so much! My family has been going to Roshan di Kulfi and Roopak for over 40 years - not too many know that they are the same family as the famous MDH - such warm owners and the spices are top notch! The chutney the chat guys serve with their aloo tikki is superb - I've never been able to find anything like it.

Mera janam Dev Nagar me hua tha, just close to Karol Bagh and I used to go to Karol Bagh with my parents and younger brother quite often. Roshan di Kulfi, Standard Sweeets, Chat store and some restaurants in Gaffar market were our all time favourite. Our Sunday breakfast used to be choley bhature from standard sweets. Still remember we used to get it in cane basket wrapped with newspaper and tied with a thick cotton thread with gajar achaar❤ childhood memories... Cant forget the pista burfee and pinni
