ahh a little bit. haha. yeah there's a spot up river we can camp the night at $6 national park fee. we'll hafta go in the off season.

@livin4adventure_aus584 , yeah I have missed a few of the comps unfortunately , hopefully make it to some next year ... but it will be a busy year ... me , my brother and a good friend of ours will be fishing some of the hobie series comps , we are going to round 1 which is at Marlo in VIC in the second week of February , excited and nervous at the same time , John Courie is fishing it aswell.. yell out when your free, and I would be more than happy to go for a flick with you on Lake Macquarie , get you onto some fish 😀

hey mate. I just go when I can mate. life's too busy to pick n choose I would prefer a run out tide for flattys they sit and ambush prey. have caught them on both tides. more on a run out. subscribe for more tips mate 👍

Fished over at Karuah last November when the river had plenty of fresh coming down it......fished from the old bridge up well past the Highway bridge on corners,creek entrances and Oyster leases for not a lot of inquiry....Drifted with lecky from the old bride to the bay on the out going tide along all leases and flats........Not even a touch on a hard body,vibe,blade or plastic..........put the no bites down to all the fresh.. The second day we landed a few on blades right on the bottom of the tide.....plan to go back after the school holidays finish and have another go..........

@@johnloudon2396 no good mate yeah the brown water definitely shuts the fish down. better off fishing the lake after rain. I fished all the way up to qld last may 2022 after the floods very hard fishing in the rivers. it socked cos it was a holiday.
