I personally think you grew a lot. He have a simple style but in the past you were too scared to add the detail you love now. so seeing how its not just a big cat with a mouse but its clear there's more to it than that, that's wonderful. I think there's more confidence in the poses too!

The cat lady looks a lot like my scrappy lil cat, Fanny (short for Fantasia). She grew up on the street, fightin' for everything she ever had!! Her claws don't have an off switch and she's always super moody, but she has a secret soft side at night when she likes to snuggle up under my arm and make biscuits on my badonkers. Painful but worth it, 9/10 badonker experience. Anyway, all this was to say "you can take the cat off'a the streets but you can't take the street outt'a the cat."

hey kasey!! i know youre not putting yourself down by saying they look similar to the new versions but i think theyre not so much 'similar' as they are recognizable! there is most definitely an improvement but with the older ones you can still easily go "thats kaseys art!"

2016 was also the first time I did Inktober too! But I didn’t start posting online until a year later. Inktober 2017 is also how I found you! :D And I definitely see improvement in your art within the last few years. It’s the same style, but you’ve really polished it now. All your proportions and angles and shapes are super crisp and just really nice to look at.💖
