Brian returns to his family's homeland, this time to explore the colorful region of Kashubia. Located in central Pomerania this fascinating region, seldom visited by foreigners, has developed its own unique language and culture, different from the rest of Poland. A culture it is now struggling to preserve. Join Brian as he experiences the history, food, wilderness and traditions of this forgotten corner of Europe.
In Part 2 of his adventure, Brian explores the charming streets of Puck, a medieval fishing village which is home to the Baltic's only sea pilgrimage and has the title of "oldest Slavic port on the Baltic Sea." Thanks to low tourist traffic, this small fishing town preserves and atmosphere of authenticity.
After exploring the town's backstreets and colorful square, Brian visits the parish church, before heading to the town's port.

I understand. That makes sense. The only people who really know about it are people with Polish roots. There aren't that many videos on it. "The Northern Kashubia" is a really good documentary. I wanted to do a segment on the Fisherman's Pilgrimage and show some more areas, but that didn't work out, so I just posted what I had. Glad you still found them informative. But there is a lot more I could've shown. But I wasn't exactly there on holiday. I had a whole itinerary planned for northern Poland, but that all went to shit.
