I wish you would make a short video on your heating and quenching technique. I get it looks simple, but Id love to just see you do it step by step. Also, how you dont encounter endless metal splinters is crazy. Thanks for the video

My god, I used to have a dremel bit that would throw tiny metal splinters EVERYWHERE! Still gives me nightmares.

the sword is very amazing! lord tengen would be very proud. there is one minor issue, the hole within the blade can go a little bit bigger, but thats it, awesome job! keep it up

His weapon would easier than making mitsuri’s sword I don’t think metal can bend and be flexible irl like it is in the manga unless it’s not metal

Excellent work! I loved them, they were very beautiful 😍 I would like to ask you a question (I am not knowledgeable about the subject) Is there any way to give red color to forged metal as you gave it that golden color?

The way I did it (with fire), the blade will progressively change from light yellow > gold > light blue > blue > dark purple > gray. Any color past gold will mess with a blades temper. To turn metal red, I think people have to use chemicals. I use paint to get a red color, but that is just cheating.

And FINALLY a guy that’s smart with his metals. Does anyone else’s gears grind when they see someone cut something from a piece of sheet metal, knowing they’re gonna be left with a bunch of odd shaped scraps, instead of doing what he did with cutting out the tsuba giving him more metal wit work with in the future?
