Funny enough, I was introduced to Kate`s music by a relative of Kate’s. He was talking about his aunt who lives in a farm and raises cows and has made some great songs. He kept sending me mp3s and at first I wasn’t too impressed by this aunt, but he kept sending me songs he had ripped from a cassette and eventually I became a fan of this recluse aunt. This was on the early stages of internet, before KZfaq or Wikipedia so I had no idea she was a world famous artist :)

My Army friend turned me on to Kate in 1984 while in West Germany it was a life changer for me. Kate is so unique and talented.

What a beautiful singer and very talented young lady ,, One of my most favourite songs ever When this song came out when she was only 19 years old she was the most beautiful looking girl ever totally Stunning good looks ,, She was wearing a jean’s coat back on top of the pop’s she was so fit and young and I love her with all my heart and soul and always have done,,, She got her music & songs right first time around she was always a star ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Love you princess and I always will love you till the day I die ,, This song especially brings me back to my younger years all good memories and when I hear this tune just takes me back to a certain time in my life that I would never forget All thanks to you babe’s,, God bless,, big fan for decades ,,

Que saudade! Lembro que quando ouvi essa música pela primeira vez, de tanto sucesso que fez, nas rádios AM, não conhecia a cantora. Enquanto isso aqui no Brasil a Tetê Espíndola estava gravando o seu mais conhecido sucesso, ESCRITO NAS ESTRELAS. Cada uma canta as suas músicas no mesmo tom agudo.

Muito obrigado! É de uma beleza única essa música. A obra de Emily Brontë foi muito bem homenageada. Mas o que eu realmente vim escrever, neste domingo, 17 de março de 2024, diretamente do Norte do Brasil, é que a voz, a beleza e a performance da Kate Bush foram a minha primeira paixão juvenil. Eu ouvia repetidas vezes, e a cada vez que assistia, me apaixonava mais e mais por ela. Obviamente que eu entendia que esse era/seria meu primeiro amor platônico... Maravilhoso!!!
