I like the second to last episode best. It's when he comes home to find the moving van and his world collapses in about three minutes. The actress playing Kate did a magnificent job of acting from the time she became suspicious. She became Gemma, but with far more repercussions and at a much fast rate.

Kate absolutely has no right to be mad spoiler alert when she returns with her daughter Amelie and husband Simon he will cheat on her karma bites back hard and in season 2 episode one she closed her mouth to stifle a grunt because she would be like a jealous fling when she is the side chick who is having sex with Simon and enjoying no matter what not caring if he is to be a faithful husband to Gemma and a loving father to Thomas.

As this series progressed, I focused on Jodie Comer more and more!! Not because she became more a part of the overall story. Her acting ability was so dead on, and her stunning beauty was so obvious. Couldn't take my eyes off her!

Jess Bell it isn't nice but a lot of people turn their backs on their children after affairs. Sometimes it's on purpose but sometimes they don't realise what they are doing because they believe the new younger child needs them more. It was awful to watch though.

I think 1 more season would have stretched this storyline out unnecessarily far. Two seasons of it was enough I think. With the heightened level of drama, you wouldn't want more of the same. Tom finally leaving knocked them both sideways and made them realize where their focus should have been really.

Simon and Gemma are equally as bad for different reasons. In S1 you see it from Gemma's side and you hate Simon, but in S2 you end up hating them both. They both score points off of each other and Tom is caught in the crossfire.

1) So Simon shows Kate that he sent Gemma a message of that photo to her, saying, "Should I show Tom?" And...? 2) Simon knows the password to his son's phone, but hasn't bothered to protect the security of his own phone?... 3) ... Which you'd think he might have a vested interest in doing, given that his first marriage failed in part due to his first wife finding photos of him with Kate on his second phone (admittedly, this might not have been such an issue Gemma hadn't found his second phone in the first place) 4) Why is the photo app always the first thing to open on these phones?! 5) If you feel the need to check your spouse's phone, your relationship is pretty much dead in the water

And sadly for us here in the PH, the original Doctor Foster isn't legally available for streaming, not even on Netflix (most of us are already hooked on Hollywood, K-dramas and even anime). Considering the immense popularity of TWOTM (the Korean version), many thought that The Broken Marriage Vow was adapted from TWOTM, based on my observations on TBMV's official trailer uploaded to YT.

Objectively speaking, i think the best version of this serie belonged to Turkey. In British version, the mc was also a horrible person. Her actions couldn't be justified with the fact her being cheated on, not to mention her sleeping with the ex-husband knowing that she would be the mistress now. In Korean version, the mc was a bit too weak, she kept shutting up and enduring everything. It makes her strong emotionally, but not everyone who watches the show seriously would think the mc is strong. Personally, i found her character boring. In Turkey version, the mc defended herself very well and she was a strong woman too, the actress also nailed the act (not saying other actresses were bad). She also kept her distance and had better, more justifiable morals while doing things. She made mistakes, sure, everyone is a human, but she didn't do as much mistakes as the British mc.

I prefer the British version for what you said. The MC is not the poor little woman, she is in fact as bad as Simon. That's what I like, it is not a story where there is a good side and a bad side. In the end, the two main character were Bad people. In the remake, the story is " the poor woman cheated who deals with her pain ".

I’m quite funny in Simon who’s so narcissistic. I can still remember there is another scene that Dr. Gemma recorded the video on her mobile phone. While she has sex with Simon. And that moment he has broken with Dr. Gemma. But Simon has known. Instead of he would delete that clip. But he still keeps it on his ex-wife mobile phone.

This show was horrible. Felt sorry for Gemma but then she had sex with her friend's husband. I couldn't feel sympathy for any of them.

I believe it was her way of getting her friend back for keeping the fact that he was cheating a secret. She claimed to be her bf, but because she knew the husband first, she kept it from her. I believe that's why even though Gemma did that, the friend helped her in the end.
