Interesting to note that before Harry and Meghan’s wedding they both referred to Catherine as Catherine, but afterwards she was dismissed as Kate Middleton. Even during the engagement interview they both referred to her as Catherine. I’m also annoyed when the media, especially the U.K. Royal commentators use “Kate Middleton.” Drive me nuts, as they should know better.

Agreed! I wish the Canadian Indigenous Community would all come to a consensus about how to deal with these two. Many years ago, I worked with Treaty 8 and Treaty 7. I know they used to hold gatherings of the Chiefs and Councils to discuss issues of a more global impact. I wish all the treaties and governing bodies would ensure they aren't being used for PR by Megain and her husband. He has no influence in Canada or in the RF.

It was an extraordinarily bitter and nasty comment. To tell any parent that two of their childrens' lives are going to be stunted, and to offer to take the children in hand to avoid harm to them, was truly odious. It's hard to envisage any parent not being enraged by it, and no doubt that was the purpose of the comment - to provoke a reaction from William. Luckily, he didn't fall for the bait.

In a way, yes, but Diana was often referred to as Diana Spencer, and Sarah Ferguson has always been known as that, and often, this was just shortened to Fergie, which she has actually embraced. I noticed this when she commented on the passing of Matthew Perry that she signed it, Sarah Ferguson, then below Fergie. So I have no real issue with using the last name, but yes, in shortening the 1st name. Kate or Katie is often used for a child called Catherine but is normal dropped in adulthood as my sister in law did. She was called Katie but changed to Katherine on her marriage, and Katherine is what I have always called her since then

@@CloudWatcher500 - Canadian here, though from Ontario ski country. Yes, it was an obscenely expensive and inappropriate fashion show. Meghan never wears Invictus clothing - she looked positively ridiculous in Germany. Harry occasionally dons a shirt or jacket with the Invictus logo on it. I have heard the reason for this (I think it was Lady C who mentioned it) and it makes sense: they have a film crew and photographers following them about and they want that footage to be generic so that it can be used for self-promotion elsewhere ie. Netflix. But I have no doubt that Meghan exploits every opportunity to stand out, and likely has side deals for promoting clothing lines if not actually reselling her clothes. It's very tacky at best, and completely inconsiderate of her to use Invictus appearances as he rpersonal "red Carpet". Exploiting the injured veterans for her own ends is reprehensible at worst.

The RF don't have time to cater to these two adolescent schemers. Past history predicts future behavior. When H & M decided to step down, they did the RF a huge favor, as she ruined every public attendance for them, they had to scramble to cover for her bad behavior so the public wouldn't notice. A huge load was lifted from their shoulders when they left. They are just trying on KC3 what MM did to QE2: announce things beforehand, and then the RF is too embarrassed to refute what is already out there in the media. Like the latest on-slaught on Prince William as him blocking reconciliation with his brother. Why? Reconciliate with those Anaconda snakes? Don't let the door hit ya, where the good Lord splits ya!

Most people including media ignore the obvious which is that Markle is a Narcissist and Psychopath (she ticks ALL of the boxes)! The only way to manage this is going no contact! This is well known in the Psychiatric world and the Royals seem to be aware of this yet none of the “Royal Experts” acknowledge what is going on when they talk of “apologies” and “olive branches” and Harry going back to work for the Royals! It is very annoying that they are still uneducated about the behaviour of Markle AND Harry and the fact that it is NOT NORMAL!

ALL telephone calls to any of the Royal palaces go through a switchboard and I should imagine this also applies to properties in Windsor Great Park. Mobile phones held by any member of the Royal Family (excluding HMTK who doesn’t have one) are encrypted with the same encryption software used by the likes of MI5 and MI6.

I am so glad you brought up the Indigenous people. I am from.Britiah Columbia and work with Indigenous people and felt much grossness when I saw them talk and being treated as if they are royal. ESPECIALLY considering the zero reaponce to the Baka people of Africa. I wanted to drive to Whistler and let them know what they are doing. So so so gross

Lady C. I could be wrong, but I believe that if you become an American citizen, you cannot retain your previous citizenship. In other words, you cannot have dual citizenship.
