DIY Baseball Photo Transfer

For this project I transferred a photo onto a baseball using Mod Podge.
Tips: make a copy of the photo with a dry ink copy machine instead of trying to transfer an actual photo. Also, all the other videos say to wait 24 hours for it to dry, but I waited maybe 1-2 hours and it still worked. All of my supplies were purchased at Target, which has no affiliation with this video. And this is in no way affiliated with or sponsored by Mod Podge, that’s just what I decided to use.

Do you know what size the pic needs to be to fit on the baseball?

I measured the blank space on the ball I purchased and then cropped the picture I chose to be that size.

Was this a regular printer paper picture

I used a copy machine with powder toner I think.

Could you do this on a basketball?

I’m not sure that it will work as well on a basketball because they have different textures, but it’s worth a try!

was this a leather baseball or synthetic

Great question! I honestly don’t know. I remember it was an “authentic MLB baseball” that I got at Target.

Is their a way so the pictures are not black and white?

I’m not sure. If you use a picture that was just printed from an inkjet printer, then it might work, but I haven’t tried that method. I used the copy machine ink because the toner was powder and I figured it would be easy to transfer. Let me know if it works!
