It starts as a slice of life parody of mafia stories, then turns into an actual shonen when real mafiosis take stage. The anime didn't adapt last 2 arcs. "Is that kid an assasin"? Well, the series has HITMAN in the title.

reborn is my favorite anime, it has a bit of a slow start, but once it gets started, oh man once it pick up the pace its top tier.

Flash Facts: - The manga is complete BUT they have NOT adapted the last arc. Just like what happened with Bleach. - AJ doing random guesses but he caught a couple of important things like the rings and the chibis BUT he completely r/whoosh something EXTREMELY important....... - Like people have mentioned already, this series was supposed to be a comedy action BUT the mangaka(which If I am not mistaken was a woman) decided to change it to more action and shounen-like. The transition is when the person "with the Uchiha eye" shows up.

katekyo hitman reborn is on my top 10 animes of all times i would recomend watching it but just like black clover its a little slow at the start i would say more slow than black clover because is more of a slice of life type of anime the first like 15 episodes but after that it gets pretty good you should maybe try it to see if it interest you man

100% am up for you watching this series 😂, my top 3 favorite most underrated Shonen. It came out like same time as Naruto so 2000s. It starts off as a comedy slice of life anime, but then gets into the more serious and storytelling aspect of it, the characters are amazing and loved it so much, hope you watch it 😂

The show is technically over, there are two more arcs in the manga but then never got put to the anime. 2 more war arcs.

The anime and manga are both done, but the last manga arc was never made into an anime as far as I'm aware, which is a shame cause the last arc of the manga was my favorite.

This is one of my favorite animes although is so underrated. It starts slow but it gets better and better as is goes on. There are good fights, good characters and it's also very funny at some points. I would love to see someone react to it.

So this show is actually one of my favorites, but there are some problems in getting people into it: -first, the 203 eps amount can be quite intimidating (about 1/3 more than hxh) and specially for a reaction channel, since many do a once a week thing, they would take almost 4 years to complete it -secondly, because the manga started as a gag manga (so school life with comedy) and then turned into a battle shonen manga because of this, the people that give it a try are looking for the battle shonen but are met with the gag almost-episodic show at the beginning (and sometimes in-between arcs in the anime) instead and get kinda let down with the show before it ramps up PS: 2nd opening is my favorite (idk if is just cause I like the music, because is the beginning of my favorite arc or maybe a bit of both)

Chibis are called The Arcobaleno is a group made up of the world's strongest seven. They are the I Prescelti Sette, lit. "the chosen seven" The rings are the Vongola family rings Mafia family. There are 7 rings, one for the boss and 6 for the guardians. Sky, cloud, rain, sun, mist, storm, lightning. Animals came from box weapons they have one of each from their elements. One of the guardian, lambo the chibi with afro hair. He has a 10yrs bazooka and if he enters it it will explode and lambo from ten yrs will come out, 25 yrs old lambo came out in one of the episode of hitman reborn. The story is about the training of the 10th generation family.

Just for clarification the anime is based on the main character tsuna the 10th mafia boss from their family the rings are a main focus for their abilities as for the characters you thought were their brothers or fathers are from the future arc when they get older by 10 years really interesting anime would recommend it if you have no anime to watch they did change it to action from the comedy anime in the first season

There's an opening missed. Like how the first opening had a part 2, opening 6 has an alternate animation that completely highlights the chibis since it's during that arc that we get more background

It seems people here on KZfaq only know about shounen anime that aired in NA back when internet was still a baby and there was no streaming. But there are other great ones that were around in the early 2000-2010s that deserve love, like Hitman Reborn and D.Gray-Man. Edit: Also, the artist is the same one who does the character designs for Psycho Pass.

The show is about a guy who is the descendant of a mafia boss in Italy, but it takes place in Japan. The chibi are basically the kids in this show, from 1 to 5 years old, the kids looks like chibi. And the main chibi is an assassin that has to teach to the main protagonist to be a mafia boss. So he creates his own family and then fights against villains... So is a classic shonen. I don't spoil you nothing else.

I won't spoil much, but the power system here is Dying Will Flames. It's your resolve manifested to an aura that can exemplify your powers. The only reason why people think Tsuna (the main character) is fire based is because he can burn things, but that's only because his powers have the destruction properties of fire. That's why people always use Tsuna vs Natsu debates lol

There's definitely good laughs on Hitman Reborn. One of those series that most so call anime fans don't know about. Before anime got popular in the west. It start as a comedy action on the classic high school set up but the end is pretty crazy. Multiverse Crazy to be exact. Yes, they are chibi version of themselves. But that's part of the plot so you need to read/watch it to know more.

It tells the story of tsuna and reborn. Reborn (the baby) is a hitman hired to train tsuna to become the next leader of the vongola family( yes a mafia family). Reborn has the appearence of a baby because he is under a curse that turned him and others to babys. The rings are a representation of the seven flames of heaven and the next generation of guardians of the vongola family each one having his own. Tsuna( guardian of the heaven) takeshi( guardian of therain) lambo( guardian of the thunder) hayato( guardian of the storm) hibari ( guardian of the cloud) ryohei( guardian of the sun) and chrome (guardian of the mist).

Literally today I was looking into that openings video and to see you react to feels so strange. I really hope Reborn gets picked up by more people. It was underrated here in America and the rest of West. It was popular in Japan to have 203 episodes. So don't think it's a short anime.
