Garcia was convicted of killing Dan Markel but Adelson is accused of masterminding the hit. Markel was in a bitter custody battle with Adelson's sister, Wendi. Magbanua says she's now telling the truth in Adelson's trial.

I’m so glad my life is simple and mundane. I go to sleep in a comfortable bed ,warm house and wake up in same , can eat nice food, shower, drink clean water , watch tv , go for walks, pat my cat, enjoy my family, I’m safe . I don’t have money but I’m grateful for a simple life. Look at this chaotic mess of people with money and greed and hatred! Fools 🤡

N the statements like "If they had any evidence, we would be headed to the airport".. "You better kill him cause he knows who u are". It depends how you look at it because the district attorney has very similar traits. And by being hostile he can make her more likely to slip up because she's still not being 100% truthful and she's done ALot of lying about the past trials and to her codefendants so she has to show and prove she can now be a honest witness. And she's cooperating because she knows it can help her get out of prison and she doesn't know what kind of deal she'll get after the trial because she was told if she cooperates it will help her based on cooperation and that way she can say she doesn't have any promises.

He had an exaggerated response to Kathrine saying something about hearing that he; Charlie wanted to pay her brother or something along those lines. Even if he "paid" her directly or indirectly for her turning down the plea deal I doubt she would own up to it. She's telling some truth not the whole truth. She must have REALLY been drinking Charlie's kool Aid to turn down a plea deal that would have kept her out of jail in a murder case.

I am rewatching this for about the 25th time! Katie is making a complete ass out of Rashbutt!! Charlie’s high priced lawyer is not so great! And he keeps making side glimpses at the jury to see how they’re reacting! Hey I know Katie’s a liar…I saw her in action in the other trials but she is making a fool out of Chuckies lawyer!! I object your honor. This attorney is badgering the witness. The witness is answering the questions in a calm manner, even a polite manner, and I believe she is being truthful. The attorney is rude and angry and can’t control himself. He’s acting like a child, he needs to grow up. It’s people like him who give defense attorneys a bad name.

His churlish behaviour is likely gaining sympathy for her. I am surprised he could ask her about her conversation with her lawyer. I thought that was attorney client privilege. Charlie clearly used her - after the murder he began to distance himself. He arrogantly joked about the hitman, because he never thought he would be caught.

DEAL/NO DEAL: She chose to protect and keep the father of her children over the guarantee of being able to avoid prison, which would have also given her the ability to be a mother and have a parent raise their children. For me, and I would imagine most all defense attorneys, this would be a no brainer of a choice. Yet.. she chose poorly. One can only wonder what was the motivation??? It is no wonder that law enforcement was frustrated with her. She definitely belongs in prison, not only for her part in a murder for hire, but for years in helping to delay justice.

No matter whether Katherine tells the truth now, Katherine should not get any leniency in her sentence. She could have cooperated long back and saved Dan's family so much anguish, which she cold-heartedly did not as she thought they will get away with it. She also made state spend millions of dollars on two of her trials. There should be no mercy to Katherine. Katherine was the principal factor in Dan's murder.

This cross is sound and fury signifying nothing. Yes, he shattered her credibility. If I was a juror, that wouldn't faze me a bit. Exposing her lies does nothing to discount why a girlfriend of Charlie would have any motive to murder his sister's ex-husband. You have to defend any way you can, but they really can't touch the obvious conspiracy, the damning sting and phone calls, or the blood money payments. It also boils my blood to see Charlie clearly enjoying his old girlfriend made a fool of on the stand after he was the one who enjoined her in murder for hire.
