Not the most articulate conversations.... painful to listen to.... particularly since Adelson is educated....And Magbanua.... appears not to be able to complete a complete, compound thought. Also painful to listen to them whine about the importance of protecting "their" family when they so blatantly were willing to destroy other families. Astonishingly, at 17:59 Charlie calls his older brother Robert a POS. For those that don't know, Robert is a physician who lives out of state and reportedly cut ties with this family years ago (in part due to Donna's "meddling" in his personal life and relationships per one site) Best move he ever made....

That's ridiculous - Rashbaum made some of Charlie's claims seem credible and cast doubt on some of the defense testimony. He played the horrible hand he was dealt. There was (it seems) no way to deny the payments at this late date, Charlie provided Rashbaum with an explanation that (crazy as it was) was consistent with his innocence and Rashbaum went with that.

He had no choice but to come up with that insane storyline that he was extorted. It’s laughable. Charlie was busted! There was no doubt and that’s why he was found guilty so quickly.

@@keriissovery9566exactly. Rashbaum was on a podcast after the trial saying the strategy to keep the double extortion a secret until trial “worked”. He actually said this even though his client got convicted in less than 3 hours. He was also horrible in court. His closing arguments were painful to listen to. Not sure why some people think he is a great lawyer.

With the defendant's financial resources, you would think he could afford a more capable and professional attorney. The evidence against this defendant is overwhelming and his attorney does not appear to be able to manage a complex First Degree Murder Trial or devise a legal strategy to mitigate his client's alleged criminal conduct. Having said that, this video is not only entertaining, but it is also very educational. I always say that "Ignorance is Expensive."

If you ask me, the defense leaves reasonable doubt! The jury is supposed to presume the person innocent thru the trial, which i dont believe happened becsuse of the way they portrayed his character and how he looks and the fact hes a millionaire! The witnesses also had it out for charlie and lied on a few occasions becsuse they wanted him convicted because emotionally they felt he did it. The sisters ex was a stalker who was heartbroken and wanted revenge, the guy luis said what he had to to hold up his end with the state to get a reduced sentence. And kati is a full blown liar and i truly believe she played both sides and very well may have set tge whole thing up. Just think if kati mentioned it to sigfredo and he was like, yes lets do it. Tgen she goes to charlie and says i got it set up to have your sisters ex killed and he says no, he cant do it. They already havr their hearts set on getting that money, so she sets it up anyway and then comes to him saying they did it and now he has to pay even if he said he didnt want to do it, its too late now you have to pay or you and your family are next.

And never mentions the extortion again but continues to be friendly with her and pay her a monthly salary, gifts etc. not one angry phone call or text about the fact she set him up and left him having to pay money for the rest of his life or face being killed?!!!
