She could have faded into a TV Trivia question for her Suddenly Susan role but parlayed it into a marketing scheme that got her back on TV, got her a EMMY and maybe grammy too. Kathy says in her act that no one at Today will interview her anymore, and this woman wasn't up to the task, so how about just giving her a segment of her own? And did that Today Show woman say she had to "defend" Matt from being called gay? I hope she meant "correct" or "refute." It's not like Kathy was calling him a d-bag. ;)

the interviewer was adorable, her first day and she gets Kathy of all people to interview! what a hell of a day for her. she looked like she had fun. and Kathy was stupendous as ever.

Sorry but she is really close friends with Cher which happens to be an A-list celebrity among others, and she currently has another successful tv show which has great ratings. She may not be an A-list celebrity, but she certainly isn't a D-list celebrity.

Who is the interviewer? She seems to have no sense of humor at all and doesn't seem to know how to play along with Kathy. She acted like she was being punked by someone and she seemed very amateurish and rude. It's almost like she has no idea who kathy griffin is and what she's like.
