Probably the most musical use of a theramin I've ever seen. Joe always shows his own abilties as a guitar virtuoso, as well as paying tribute to the guitarists and songs that he loved as a young man. Great performance.

Joe to me is fundamentally a blues Guy. So that means you will get Truth which means 100% commitment in execution of his performance. And a different story every time. That is what live playing with that type of Artist is about. Good luck seeing him live. Blues Lives😎

Ladies there are nosebleed seats asong as the venue is a 2000-5000 seats. His 4 tour buses are plain colors but the 3 trucks have him on both sides. This song is a mashup up of at least 5 songs. It's listed as Just got paid/Dazed and confused. He started playing with this years and years ago and kept adding stuff to it. This was his encore for a long time and then not but he's started playing it again. This whole concert is mind blowing, check out his channel for Tour de force Royal Albert Hall 2014. That thing is called a Theramin.

The thing he was waving his hand at was a theremin, it makes high pitch sounds when you get close to it. And when you step away from it, the noise is not as obvious.

Damn, how he slipped Still Of The Night by Whitesnake in there is FLAWLESS!! Most of the times when he plays Just Got Paid, he goes into Dazed and Confused by LZ, which is what I thought he was gonna do!! Edit: 13:50…spoke too soon, lol

I saw Joe when he was seventeen and was playing in a bar in Sandwich Illinois many years ago. I was in awe of his playing. I was standing right in front of him as he played, the place was packed. He has certainly come a long way and I knew he would!! I would listen to a small local radio station and they would play his music at night. The first song I ever from him was "Blues Deluxe"

Hi guys, I'm so excited seeing this video because I have tickets to see him in London on April 4th at this venue, the Royal Albert Hall. We've been to many concerts here, its an amazing venue and I'm sure its going to be a blast. We love watching your videos here in London England and my wife and I were wondering where you're from. We've travelled through all 50 States so we were wondering if we'd passed by near where you lived. I really hope you manage to get tickets to see him I'm sure Donna in particular will love him. Just saw him this past Tuesday on his recent tour, he also did this song. The band was tight and everyone on the stage was awesome. Great, Great concert

You said that Joe Bonamassa is due to play near to you later in the year. Can I say that whatever the price of the tickets, go and see him live. You will not be disappointed as he always gives 100% when playing live. I first saw him play way back in 2009 at The Royal Albert Hall in London. Since then I've seen him in Blackpool, Preston, Brighton and Liverpool. You could say I'm a bit of a fan! Joe Bonamassa also plays on a thing called "Keeping The Blues Alive". Last time I heard of him doing that it was on a cruise ship touring The Mediterranean and Aegean Seas. I couldn't go on that one but the next time I'm going to make a hell of an effort to be on board.

Been a while. Great ZZ standard blue collar blues 💙 so Donna is bang on for that. Ya all would get busted as i think Kathy's guilty look would make them question why ya all hanging around Joe's Bus . Nosebleed section is where 99 % of blue collar workers can afford today with these prices..So Lulu school is cool and can maybe make you a regular in the Gucci Section of the concerts you choose to see. Great reaction and if you can get tickets and it's close. Life is short and tomorrow is never promised. I say go if God's willing.😊 Bluesfingers1 ("The Music of Everything ")

The ZZ Top version is great ladies, check it out! There is a live version from 1980 that is killer. This is a good version though, like the Whitesnake breakdown in the middle, plus some Zeppelin thrown in, nice. Good video ladies!

That electronic instrument is called a Theremin. It doesn't require any physical contact to make it work. Fun little toy!

Ive seen Joe 4 times and every time its a treat and every song incredible. Ive never been dissapointed. You really should go see him. Maybe you can start a go fund me page or do here whaaar your doing to raise money for Lulus birthday. By thee way my birthday is also june 5th but I will be 76 and I was wondering theres a birthday song Id like to have you play on our birthday and was wondering if there is anyway I cannnnn make that happen, I still love the time you reffered to sleeepy Jimmy Barnes andddd slipped and said you loved me and Lulu started in :) Love the reactions

Gibbons thinks Joes version is a fabulous cover done by one of the greatest guitarists alive today. In fact Joe and Gibbons have played many times together and enjoy each other very much.
