Joe IS NOT from Australia. He was born upstate New York (about 1/2 hr from me). He move to L A, now lives in Nashville. The keyboardist is the great Resse Wynans (played for Stevie Ray Vaughan). The backup singer playing the tambourine is Mahalia Barnes (she is from Australia and the daughter of the legend and icon Jimmy Barnes). Joe has been playing guitar since he was 4. His dad got him started. At 9 he was playing in bands with guys 20 years older than him. At 12 he opened for the legendary blues artist BB King. Michael Rhodes the bass player his recordings and touring of Joe Bonamassa. Rhodes was inducted into the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum in 2019. Rhodes died on March 4, 2023, at the age of 69 of pancreatic cancer.

Joe Bonamassa is from the state of New York, USA. His three backup singers - Mahalia, Jade and Juanita - are all Australians however!

Joe is from upstate NY. He stared at 4rs and his first inspiration was Eric Clapton. However his knowledge blossomed and he knows about all kinds of music. He played an average of 5 hours a day. He opened for BBKing the whole summer he had just turned 12. Hes 46 and has 45 albums. He has 26 #1 blues albums. Joe is 🔥 no matter what he plays!

@@JynxFree check out “I’ll play the blues for you” live at the Greek theater. Dust Bowl Sloe Gin Stop! Drive Blues Deluxe He’s got some great tunes. He and Beth Hart also do a couple of covers. You could start with “I’d rather go blind” or “I’ll take care of you”.

Oh shut up with your dreary old 'golden rule'. I'm sick of pricks like you dribbling with excitement every time someone relatively new to this type of music pauses a solo, because it gives you the chance re-type that same, tiresome line, just like you've done dozens of times before. Who gives a fuck if he pauses the solo? I guarantee he's enjoying it a lot more than you've ever done - and that's what music's all about. It's there to give pleasure. There are no 'rules'.
