this was her highest version until she sang this at her 1st major concert a few yeqrs ago. she got a standing ovation and ppl were shocked because they didn't expect she'd take it a notch higher.

this version is from her idol/inspiration and queen of Filipino divas, REGINE VELASQUEZ, but i think Katrina owns this version now.

I’m not familiar with Katrina so at first I thought she was just another pretty singer. But then her control, dynamic range, sustain and ability to flawlessly punch it and give it her all just bowled me over. Thank you Aaron for finding another gem and enlightening us.

This was my very first introduction to Katrina Velarde way back when. Incidentally my first intro to Morissette was her singing "Akin Ka Na Lang" on this very bus. Since then both artists have grown from strength to strength. Do not know how much patience you have, but her Whitney Houston Medley at the Metrowalk (has to be at the Metrowalk) will no doubt blow your socks off. It's one of the two best Whitney Medley I've ever seen. The other one was also sang by the very same vocal gymnast. She's an absolute phenomenon. Great reaction as usual. This was Kat’s first WishBus performance and a breakthrough in her career. She has really matured and improved over the last 5 years. Check out her duet of I SURRENDER with friend Jessica Villarubin. It’s awesome

Kat’s Latin Medley is Brilliant! Also you should check out Katrina’s IMPERSONATING SINGERS 3 BURN. Kat sings Ellie Gouldings Burn while impersonating a number of vocal divas. Most are spot on and the transitions are amazing. Kat performs sitting down with her baby son on her lap using her basic home equipment and it’s just ridiculous. must see for Kat fans. 🎉

Oh, you havent seen her hold her breath for 42 secs. The song itself is hard enough but she’ll definitely make it more impossible by holding the notes for so long.

Peyton Parrish also does a rock cover version of this song. I agree with another comment that you should check out Katrina's Latin Medley. She does a collab of I'm Your Angel with Budakhel where I think there are 4 key changes. For sure 3 and think maybe a 4th. She also has a video out there somewhere, where she sings a high belt for 42 seconds.

Aron you're a musician then you should see Katrina Velarde sing with live band (put together by her then husband who taught drums at UCLA) doing kick-ass songs by Chick Corea, Carlos Santana, Stevie Wonder and others. Her singing in the video is superb and the band is crushing it .Please react to it ...thanks
