Kat doesn't have to "live up to the hype" or anything else! She IS the "HYPE" and has already proven (as many in the industry and others "in the know have stated) that she is the best all-around female vocalist on the planet! She is, IMO, the GOAT and the best I've ever heard in my 63 years! STILL grossly underrated, she would, long ago have been a megastar if she were born in the West.

I’m from u.k I’ve been a big fan of hers since 2017! She is my favourite singer in the world beating all the big guns from the United States over the decades. There’s no one like her. Mashed can also imitate Celine, Mariah, Christina and Whitney to near pin point accuracy! You need your do Her first ever Wishbus 1075 performance of Go The Distance ( for which she was first famous for all them years ago in 2016.

I agree about the lack of instrumentation in that section you pointed out. Her voice was kinda too big for the band there for quite a few seconds. A global level worthy performance.

Since you are in the process of reviewing, I cannot recommend more highly the Korean quartet “Forestella”. You will not be disappointed. I recommend their rendition of a beautiful song entitled “As I Live”. Forestella does everything from classical to Queen. Amazing!!!
