The mirroring is done in camera. The sets are the same. So the actors had to, for example, use their opposite hands in the alt world. The showrunners confirmed this in an interview 😊

About Adam: He is not trying to destroy everything because he can't save Martha, that's actually the big difference between Adam and Jonas: Jonas is stuck in the mentality of trying to save Mikkel and Martha, but throughout his life he came (or will come, whatever) to the conclusion that things are wrong in a much bigger scale. All of them, all the characters that we know, are stuck in this cicle of misery and death forever, and there is no way out for any of them. Adam has seen the course of life of all the people he knows, all the people he loves, and he knows they are all fated to tragedy and suffering. He has lost all the hope he once had, but he still has the same goal: to save everyone. And the only way he can see of doing this is destroying the loop and everyone with it, freeing them all. It can sound a bit extreme, but I can totally see why he came to that conclusion. Just by watching the series I thought that no existence is better than the life of most of these characters, imagine living through all this 😅 To me he seems much more sane than Eva, whose plan is to maintain the suffering forever (although I can also understand her point of view, the idea of ceasing to exist is scary af) Sorry for writing a bible haha I feel like Adam is being highly misunderstood and unjustified by a huge part of the fandom, so I always jump at any chance to defend him. Also I can't believe we only have two more episodes, I'll miss this reactions so much 😭 P.S.: Egon was sent to take Hannah to the 50s, for her to have an affair with his younger self and get pregnant, just like in Jonas's world. And yes, she lost Ulrich's baby. P.S.2: We saw adult Bartosz in 2x01, he was making the cave with young Noah, and then was killed by young Noah *Edit:* P.S.3: Yeah, Franziska and Magnus are like, the one lucky couple in this show hahaha They died in one world and got separated from their families and stuck on the 1800s for 30 years on another, but at least they were always together until the end, which is more than any other couple got

Adam felt like he had to choose between an infinite loop of pain and torment for him and the population of Winden, or nothingness. So I’m not surprised he chose oblivion.

You are right Quantum entanglement is a real phenomenon. I'm not an expert, but the gist of what I've learned about the subject is it's when particles are 'entangled' with each other so that a change in quantum state to one particle will happen in opposite to another, even over long distances. It is one part of the basis on how quantum computers work!

It caused an overproduction of Caesium-137, a byproduct of nuclear fission, which was then stored in the yellow barrels and hidden, because Bernd Doppler, the power plant director at the time, wanted to keep the incident under wraps. The Caesium-137 then could be used as a "time travel fuel" and also played part in creating the god particle.

Although obvious Adam´s "paradise" is the result of what jonas went through. Being trapped in time (1888) made him realize that everything will happen again the way it did that he will become adam, that he has to try not to change it but to destroy the cycle.

This montage has my favorite music in the show (although the montage in the next episode is my favorite visually). The music just wraps everything in this hopelessness where the repetitions of "all you need is time" and "it's all under control" couldn't be more fitting for the themes of the show and the way everyone is being manipulated and outwitted by someone else, and events have a way of cascading into apocalypse regardless of how much time you have to prevent it. I'm excited for these last two episodes so you can hopefully get the answers you're seeking! In regard to Old Alt Egon, I think that we're supposed to assume that his assignment was "you are to restart our family tree" by taking Hannah back in time right before the apocalypse so she could eventually have a child in the past that propogates most of the family again. There are some notable major diversions in this second world, which is interesting. Middle Alt Bartosz apparently steps in to save Young Alt Bartosz rather than him traveling with the kids. Magnus and Franzisca simply die in the Altpocalypse. Since there's no Jonas, no Magnus, and no Franzisca, it's pretty easy to assume that there's also no need for an 1888 or maybe even a 1921 plotline in the alt world.

Season 3 features so many Marthas that I am not sure it is Dark or The Handmaid's Tale:)

The next 2 episodes, In Between Time and Paradise are amazing. When you see the 3x07 you will understand

The alt-Egon scene with Hannah is indeed a little confusing, but, without spoiling anything, you can get an idea of what it would be about from previous snippets of info. (And I cannot spoil anything about this specific alt-world-situation, because it never gets explained in the remaining episodes. Not a lot from alt-world-history gets explained.) So, Eve send out Egon with the task "You must create your past to preserve the family tree". We know that in prime-world, Hannah had travelled back to 1954 and got pregnant by Egon. This child, part of the whole convoluted family tree, will certainly play a role. In alt-world, Hannah did never time-travel and the child she was pregnant with was from Ulrich... and she was just losing it. So we might conclude that old Egon was taking her back to his younger self to sire this important child. Or do it himself. One of the main differences between Adam's world and Eve's - grounded in their divering goals: in Adam's world, things mostly happen just because the characters do certain actions. Eva on the other hand is actively involved to construct events. The 1985 accident in the powerplant, for example. Everyone in Adam's world - and we the audience with it - had always assumed it just was an accident. But now we know that Eva sent out the trio to _make_ it happen. Eva is deliberately constructing this whole mess.

We have 25 Degrees Celsius in Berlin at the Moment and I had goosebumps everywhere. So, u have done something right!

Understandable for me why Adam chose his route. There is no way of knowing how long this loop has been going on. It could have been going on for thousands of years, hundreds of thousands of years. He made his decision to end that. Some finality I guess, an end to an eternity of ghoulish cycles thrust upon not only one town, but the entire world. Kind of makes me think of how much damage a small number of people can do given the right circumstances..or tools. Even our current lives are greatly effected by the actions of a small number of people. I think about every outbreak movie, whether it be a contagion like Captain Tripps, or an undead creating zombie virus, or the Army/some rogue scientist or even a legit practitioner stumbling upon discovery... tearing a hole in reality, finding a new dimension resulting in a mist covering the planet with untold creatures as large as a cathedral or as menacing as a demigorgon..............and in turn I think of how fragile our world actually is. Then again, with our current predicament in play...I don't have absorb fiction to have that cross my mind when the "real" world is enough.

Those last two episodes are as DARK as it gets (pun intended). On the bright side, things are going to look up... in the long run.

I had a very tough and stressful week so I'm just getting a bit if free time to watch this video and the next one. (Today started quite stressful too but you're always excellent company while I work). I'm glad you enjoyed this episode. I remember I was just as baffled at this point because I couldn't anticipate the ending. Like, seriously no freaking idea where it would go. (My boyfriend joked about the black screen for two episodes too hahaha) And regarding the light and dark thing, I think it took me a few weeks after finishing this season to remember how in season 1 there were so many talks about the war between dark and light and how it actually referred to Adam and Eva's factions. So far you have always picked this kind of things waaaaay quicker than I did haha. Also, I loved Kat's explanation about Erit lux. I've read it was changed from the original but I didn't quite get how it altered the meaning until I hear you taking about it. Thanks again for the great reaction. Woot thank you two for another dark upload, here are my thoughts - Right off the bat when sonny talks about “light and shadow” and who to root for, the way I see it is that they are two different extreme cults, neither is correct. They are both in their extremes which they think is correct , that neither is correct. Now at the start of this episode I was so conflicted. I left episode 5 with so much hope there would finally be change! But then we see nope, it’s just the cycle but the other side of the loop? Quantum entanglement? I think it has something to do with “time standing still for a fraction of a second”. I still don’t get it. If there are 2 possibilities why can’t there be infinite possibilities. I just wanted to feel some movement and some change. Idk felt like a cop out. Now there have been a lot of Martas , but this is the point where I was like ok what the heck I don’t get where in the time line we are it doesn’t make any sense. I actually only got it on my second watch if this season. I really liked the sequence when the “unknown” caused the explosion, very cinematic and lovey to my eyes. But one major question, what the heck was aleksander doing with Charlotte? What was his end game ? I don’t understand why he was showing her the barrels. Was he coming clean? What’s he destroying her like Hannah told him to? How would that be destroying her? I don’t get it. One thing that has been bugging me about the mirror universe, is most of this we’ve seen before. While neat in the beginning it got old real quick. In this Episode I finally liked it! I felt the relationship with katarina and Martha or magnus was so interesting. Magus respects her more and says don’t do that to mom, and the scene with katarina and Martha saying goodbye was touching. Remember we’ve seen older bartosz before, he was stabbed by Noah in season 2. It was nice to FINALLY get clarity on what Adam and Avas plan actually was and what their goals with all this are. Amazing point by Kat saying Ava was laying out the red thread for everyone to follow. Kat talking about the apocalypse with sonny at the end ❤️😭

You don't know the identity of Hannah & Egon's child yet but it's important for the family tree that this child will be born. That's why Eva sent Egon to see Hannah. She needs him to take Hannah to the 1950's to have her end up being pregnant with young Egon's child.

I think Egon has some reason to be invested in Hannah's pregnancy...
