Hearing this song for the first time today. I've battled illness and addiction. Today I can say I am 5 YEARS clean and sober and it is all because of Jesus. The one who wrote my story and goes before me every step I take. The one who carried me through my deepest battles with depression and mania telling the devil that I am His and the devil has no power here because I am a child of the king. Thank you Jesus!

I cried when I first heard this song. I went downhill in my faith and didn't want anything to do with God. Then this song played on the radio and it felt like God was telling me He was sitting right there and he hadn't forgotten me. Love this song 🎵 ❤️

We all have a God sized hole in our heart. ❤️🩹 Some try to fill it with all the material trappings of this world but they never satisfy. Only by allowing Jesus to fill that hole in our heart we can have true peace and understanding of what Jesus has done for us and the life lessons he has taught us. Without God we are like a ship drifting in the ocean currents but with Jesus at the helm we have direction and purpose for our lives. God loves you dearly and has a plan and purpose for good for your life. In the book of Esther, God isn’t mentioned once in that story. However, He was still there. His miracles and shift in situations were very known in Esther’s life. I’ve taught myself how to play this song on piano! I love Katie Nicole so much because she has helped me with my depression and help me stop cutting! I was a colour for 29 years that there was no help or help for me even though I trusted in God and Jesus! I know it was her song that God used to help set me free! I've been having chronic pain for years now. It affects my sleep and everyday function. I'm weary and tired. It's 4am and another interrupted night of sleep. Sitting up with a large ice pack listening to this song with tears streaming down my face. "God is in my story" encourages me knowing in all my strife God is ever present and He knows. I'm so sorry for the loss of your son. Suicide is a very hard thing to understand. I have much empathy for you. I am the survivor of suicide. I flat lined many times, but God being who he is, kept my soul in my body. God never meant for you to carry this burden. It is His, and it is written in the healing of His scars. You may always have the pain of your sons suicide but the healing is God's job. God is the only one qualified to give you the healing you need. I pray even now for the peace that passeth understanding, look up and praise Him!

I love you God and I will praise you for complete restoration from a tumor behind my ey at age 17, eye surgery at 20, bad pregnancy in 2003 daughter born 2 months early weighing 2# born healthy with no health problems. 2015 started getting blood clots in my legs. April 2015 lost my left leg below the knee. December 2017 lost my right leg above the knee. 2018 the devil got ahold of my mind had me only focused on the negatives. I tried to commit suicide 4 times I relasped for about 5 months. 2021 lost my left knee. BUT GOD!!!!!!!!!MY GOD MY GOD MY GOD!!!!! HE IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN GOOD!!! THANK YOU JESUS FOR COMPLETE RESTORATION. I WILL FOREVER SING PRAISES ABOUT HOW GOOD GOD HAS BEEN TO ME. OH hallelujah I'm I'm so in love with Jesus and so thankful for him always leaving the 99 to come find me and protecting me all the days of my life. I'm happy again he's restored my peace, joy, happiness and even laughter again! All praise honor and glory to God! God bless you all always!

I woke up at 2am sick with a sore throat and an upset stomach. It was around 3am and I couldn’t go to sleep. My wife was coming back from the bathroom and she says “I thought I heard music”. I thought nothing of it. Then maybe 15 mins later, I thought, “God takes the words out of my mouth and breathes the air into my lungs.” I then sat up and wrote an entire song. I am not a musician nor a songwriter. My wife said the song she heard was being sung by a woman. This beautiful, powerful song is to be sung by a woman. I can hear it in my head being sung by you. This is amazing Katy Nicole! I've heard parts on your instagram before but I need this song so bad. Even when I'm at my weakest I will trust in Jesus God is in this story! Amen and Amen! Love these lyrics---so true and so awesome!!! Also the voices and the video----the words though cut right through to your heart!!! God is always in the story if you know Him--and even if you don't--He is wanting you to come to Him through His son Jesus. Come!!!
