Her trying to sing a Queen song is like my cat trying to sing a Katy Perry song.

People bashing her? Atleast she didn't use autotune, unlike those wannabe vocalist who uses high dose of autotune to sound good, besides this was a tribute for queen, please respect that. Freddie told the press that "Do what ever you wanna do with my music just don't make it boring". If you hate the tribute for Queen then just don't listen same if you hate Katy Perry.

I don't see anything wrong with katie singing this, what do you expect her to voice like Freddie? at least she is respecting the song and doesn't sing like Kanye.

Okay so maybe this wasn't the best performance of Don't Stop Me Now ( just an opinion ), but she didn't do anything bad by singing it. Quite the contrary, it's a good thing that she's introducing many of her fans to this song and Queen in general, even if it is through a performance with mixed opinions.

I'm old I love queen, and I love katy perry, This is the first time listening to this and this is exactly as it should sound. She is exactly as she wants to be. Not to please anybody, just doing her music the way she wants.
