सुबोध भावे यांनी एकामागून एक उतमोत्तम कलाकृती देवून सर्व मराठी माणसांना अतिउपकृत केले आहे. मला सर्व संचामधील हे नाटक बघावयास मिळाले आहे.१९७० मध्ये पाहिलेल्या या नाटकाची गोडी अवीट आहे.त्याचे चित्रपटात रुपांतर करताना केलेले आवश्यक बदल कोठेही खुपत नाहीत की अपुर्पना ठेवत नाहीत. नाटक आणि चित्रपट या दोन्ही माध्यामांचा व्यवस्थित अभ्यास केलेला आहे हे सुरवातीपासून शेवटापर्यंत कायम जाणवते. सर्वच पात्रांनी या स्तुत्य उपक्रमाला योग्य साद देत गोडी आणखी वाढवली आहे. संपूर्ण चित्रपटात कोठेही विस्कळीतपणा अजिबात नाही हे फार मोठे वैशिष्ट्य. खासाहेब ,पंडित भानुशंकर,उमा झरीना,कविराज अगदी गाडीवालासुद्धा अतिशय आखीव राखीव. सुबोध भावे आपणाला व सर्व चमूला शतशः धन्यवाद.

I am sixty years old and I had the good fortune to attend KATYAR drama way back in 1975 in which Pandit Vasantrao Deshpande played the Khansaheb character . Now as I hear the KATYAR MOVIE Vasantrao original SONGS re recorded in Rahul Deshpande voice keeping the original tunes same my heart feels each time an unlimted joy . May God bless Rahul Deshpande for singing these without distortion

For the first time in my life that I think Sachin Pilgaonkar has acted brilliantly and was outstanding as "Khaan Saab".This soundtrack gonna be in the playlist for a long long long time.
