Welcome to Episode 5 of Katzenwagen TV's GTA Road Trip series!
Firstly, sorry for the delayed upload yet again. I had a few issues to fix :3
In this episode, we take a tour of Liberty City from Grand Theft Auto III
And I'll try to drive as normally as possible... ;P

I just love driving, I wish more games were made for my audience, I grew up with Nintendo but I love my gta driving is so refreshing I think that's why Rockstar is so great. there driving is pure joy.

Rockstar is probably best at driving mechanics in their games. Too bad that they discontinued their MidNight Club racing game franchise. I think if they bring it back then that would be a slap on EA's Need For Speed franchise.

I didn`t play GTA 3 for ten years already, but still remember every street. My favorite game in the series btw, It had that moody urban atmosphere that`s been lost in other parts.

This is just my opinion if you don’t agree with me, but rockstar really didn’t try on the New York vibe for gta 3, there was barely ever any people on the sidewalks and there was never a lot of cars on the bridges either. If you ever went to New York, you’d know exactly what I mean. Gta 4 captured literally everything. Gta 3 barely had any New York feeling.

It goes without saying that cities in the HD universe are way more detailed and close to their real life counterparts compared to the same cities of the 3d universe. For instance Los Santos from San Andreas doesn't look at all like LA, but Gta V's version of the city is almost spot on, though the scale is off

Well yeah, Rockstar weren't going for exact 1:1 replicas until the HD era. The 3D era locations focused more on giving you hints to where you were, so you could say "Okay this is definitely _like_ NYC/Miami/Los Angeles (San Francisco & Las Vegas too)" Whereas in GTA IV and V, you knew you were _definitely_ in a GTA counterpart of NYC and Los Angeles

I was about to say that you must have been nervous driving into Portland view and the Saint Marks district.... but then I saw the special vehicle you were driving ;) still must have been a lil adrenaline as you’re driving through those districts!

Haha yeah, and I can’t even pretend to obey traffic rules coz the gangs in Chinatown and maybe even the others would drag me out of the bulletproof Patriot if I stop for too lobg lol. Eventually I got tired of it and learned to edit pedstats so I can revisit them this 2020 with peace of mind lol XD

Katzenwagen TV what i want is a mod that has you follow traffic rules and if u even make a mistake the cops will be on yo ass like in mafia. Im sure there is one out there and i will prob play it once or twice and delete it. Idk i could just play mafia but gta3 is a classic

It's always funny being around 60% done with the story when you finally ditch the mob. Going back to their turf and forgetting they hate you;then all of a sudden, some mobster with a shotgun fucking 3 shots your car to death.

I remember how I played GTA Vice City with my brother, stole a bus and I was the guide person, and my brother asked me questions and something I said was real, something I made up and at night we als ways went to save. And we were always driving and so,times got out and even went to “Fake eat” or sometimes to a pizza place or north point mall to eat.

Love Saint Mark's [I might replay GTA 3 then save before Salvatore's death (where the Leone Mafia are friendly where I can roam in peace) and save after Salvatore's death + receiving the bulletproof Patriot 😎]

if you still have your 100% savegame, you can download an edited PEDSTATS.DAT from one of the trusted GTA mod sites and replace the pedstats file on your computer. The edited pedstats adjusted the hostility levels of the Triads and Mafia to zero :D

I kept my patriot stored in the garage and never touched it during missions coz it also disappeared while I was doing a mission, so I reloaded the last savegame and used that patriot only when exploring from then on XD

You should have played King Courtney mission immediately after you unlock Staunton Island.
