Usually a keyboard concerto, but Bach transcriptions (and reconstructions) always add something new, such is the depth of his music. Kavakos' bowing is about the best in the violin trade, so it adds crispness and vigour.

I played the keyboard version at my graduation recital; what a glorious time. Kavakos is wonderful. Wish I could have had the opportunity to play music with him.
