Ramchandra Baryanji Dwivedi "Pradeep" was a renowned Hindi poet & songwriter of India. He is famous for giving words to one of the finest patriotic poems, along with writing songs for Hindi films as well. The popular patriotic song 'Aye Mere Watan Ke Logon' has been composed by him. In the film 'Jagriti', he wrote one of the most memorable and patriotic songs like 'Aao Bachhon Tumhen Dikhaaye', 'De Di Hamein Azaadi' & 'Hum Laaye Hain Toofan Se Kashti Nikaal Ke', which swayed the nation with its overpowering sense of nationalism. Three years hence, a similar film in Pakistan was released which drew great inspiration from Pradeep's work in Jagriti. In this show of Unki Nazar Unka Shahar we take a look at his illustrious life & legacy.
Unki Nazar Unka Shahar is a series of special programmes focused on writers and poets of Hindi, Urdu, English and various languages of India. In this series, viewers can watch biopic on Ruskin Bond, Sahir Ludhianvi, Rajendra Mathur, Neeraj, Dushyant Kumar and more.

कवि प्रदीप भारत के महाकवि हुए हैं जिन्होने राष्टृभक्ति के गीतों से देश को कृतार्थ किया. ऐसे कवि को कोई भी सम्मान छोटा पड़ेगा.प्रदीप जी धन्य हैं कि भारत उन पर गर्व करता है.

अभी तक राज्य सभा टेलीविजन पर यह श्रृंखला उनकी नज़र उनका शहर के नाम से जानी जाती थी । अब इस श्रृंखला का विस्तार करते हुए इसे विरासत के नाम से शुरू किया गया है । इस कड़ी में पहला शो ज़ोहरा सहगल पर है । कृपया अब विरासत के नाम से इस शो को देखें । उनकी नज़र उनका शहर श्रृंखला के सभी शो यू ट्यूब पर उपलब्ध हैं ।

Mananiye RajeshJi, Very nice presentation of a stalwart who stayed away from glamor and always contributed to greater cause of nation and society. I grew up listening these songs from early childhood and still remind myself of philosophy of life. Thank you very much. Jai Siya Ram!!

Sutrdhar maoday, Aapko shatat dhanyavad. aur RSTV ko bhi mera naman. In mulyon ko abhi thak jinda rakhne ke liye aur asha karata hoon ke ye vartman-sangat geet aur paddya hamara margdarshan karenge. Shri Pradeep ji ko mera sadar naman. Parmatma kripa kare.

It's very good of you,Shri Rajesh Badal,to present programmes about great poets and writers of the Indo-Pak,whether they used Hindi or Urdu as medium i.e;used Devnagri or Persian script.As far as Pradeep jee is concerned,your upload has enlightened the viewers of KZfaq about his poetic output as well as his greatness as a human being.It will be a great service to languages of the sub-continent if you could present uploads on writers who used to write in Hindi orUrdu for various Indian movies.

"Main aag hoon aur tum paani ban ke rahogi to shadi karoonga" now, any of these so called femenists will hear this, they will probably pick up the placard and sit on dhrana to acclaim Pradeep to be a sexist.
