The best thing for a marriage is to share experiences and if we can spend more time together and do this, everyone wins :) I’m very lucky she likes being a guest or co-reporter.

I haven't been getting any notifications from either of your channels lately. I have the notification bell on for all and i even turned it off then back on again so i could try to catch at least one stream tonight but at least i have the play back. I was scrolling down the home page of KZfaq and thats when i saw the play back from the first stream and just decided to try to keep a sharp eye out for this stream but i guess i still missed it. Oh well

Japanese candy is so cool! You can use that baguette for a bánh mì! Fig bread? That's great for your intestines, at least the fig part is. More fiber!
@onlyinjapanGO4 жыл бұрын
The fig bread was very good. Kanae wanted to get bread from here for her family too so I thought we should do it before the live stream BUT that line (and everywhere) was always so long 😂 I’ll have to come back.

I’ve been to Kawagoe, it’s not popular with tourists outside Japan but it’s starting to get known. They have float festivals and the float museum is really interesting they have floats on display. English brochure but mostly everything is in Japanese but still worth the visit it’s right on the Main Street. Lots of street food and shops. It makes a nice half day visit. I was disappointed with candy alley it was only a few stores that sold candy the Main Street has much more shops.

Dude bread is just bread... LOL John are there any N.Y. style delis there? I would love to eat a Reuben just about now. Toasted rye bread slices, pastrami with sauerkraut and thousand island dressing and a cucumber pickle on the side. I wonder if Katz's is still open in NY?
@onlyinjapanGO4 жыл бұрын
They try to but they’re no where near as good as NY! Catering to Japanese tastebuds. Same as sushi in NYC is usually pretty meh 😒 compared to Tokyo.

I am kinda bored of Japanese snacks, they are almost all sweet! And that too is mostly anko or sweet potato based. There isn't a wide variety. I personally would like more flavors than just sweet.
