A good idea if you're not going to work on the body(hull) is to replace the hood seal to prevent some water intrusion into your engine bay.

Hows she running to this day? I am having the same issue, when I press the green start button it just "clicks", sounds like it's coming from the ebox. I have the ebox apart getting ready to buy a new starter solenoid. Did the one you buy off Amazon work well? I just want to make sure I get one that I won't have to replace after a season or two, while also not breaking the bank. Also, would you suggest the "clicking" issue is in fact my starter solenoid? Would you suggest I start with the starter solenoid, and if it doesn't resolve the issue, move on to the starter itself? Thanks for the great video, this has helped me out a lot so far.

Thanks man! I have not had it in the lake yet this year (likely will get it out early July), but it was working very well last year before I put it away. To know if it is the solenoid for sure, jumper the two external ring terminals on the ebox. If it turns over then your solenoid is bad. If it doesn’t turn over I’d start with the solenoid.

No, standard vacuum and diaphragm pump with jets in the carb

on my ski at least the carb seems to be the least of the issues. Have had a few issues in the ebox, one being the kill switch coil which I originally thought was dirty carb. What are your symptoms?
